From the Schnitzel website which also released this song as a single: "Ween "Gabrielle" one sided brown vinyl limited edition 7inch. The sleeves were hand silk screen printed in the States on French recycling paper and the brown vinyl was pressed in Germany." As Shellshock is a different label, may be different. Basically, "Gabrielle" is a song from Ween's 'Shinola Vol. 1', an assemblage of outtakes spanning the years. I'm not sure "Gabrielle" was recorded in the old leaky farmhouse where Ween are working on their next full-length album, but it may have been. "Gabrielle" is a good, rockin' song, catchy and melodic, full of pee pee and vinegar. Cool cover art.

even though this single is on the shinola cd the packaging that this comes in and the beautiful brown vinyl make this much worthwhile as a ween colectors item. the heavy duty vinyl sleeve, hard board folded insert that was individually silkscreened, the french paper vinyl sleeve that has wonderful artristry itself, and the brown marble vinyl. totally wonderful chocodog/schnitzel issue of this great ween single from the chocolate and cheese days. if you own both the shinola and chocolate and cheese schnitzel vinyls than this would compliment it greatly.
