Good dictionary if dated,

This one's about 100 years old or so. However, it's still a very good reference to aid the learner. It has English definitions in the Gàidhlig - English section, and the English - Gàidhlig section has usage examples and simple synonyms to help the reader understand the word and possible other meanings.
