This album is exciting and wonderful in every way. Each song brings to life a touching insight to a life lived in "older" Scotland, love, loss, war and memories. Keeping alive tradition and blending with a new world, it is a delight on the senses for this truly romantic language, my favorite by far.

Gaelic Scotland is an absolutely terrific album of authentic Scottish folk songs sung in Gaelic by some of Scotland's best traditional performers. If you are at all interested in Scotland or in the folk music of the British isles, this album is essential. And if that's not one of your main interests, don't pass over this album because the music might seem obscure: these wonderfully melodic songs will be of wide appeal, and I'm sure they will become favorites of anyone who enjoys good music.
