Whether you are just beginning to explore Celtic music or you are a seasoned listener, this album is a must have. Groups like Altan, Cherish the Ladies, and the Bothy Band have set the standards for contemporary Celtic music. This is a great compilation of all the good stuff in many of our existing cd collections.

This is not some junk album capitalizing on the craze for all things Celtic. This is some of the hottest, most creative music from several of Scotland and Ireland's best bands. Varied, ecclectic, and strong in every count. Many of the Scots and Irish Gaelic words are included, which is an added bonus. If you like Mary Jane Lamond or Ashley MacIsaac, you'd be mad to miss this one.
