Great machine, but hard to repair,

Probably not a problem if you buy with Amazon and have a warranty, but we used this machine for just a year and the water gasket on the side started leaking water. Because we now live in Japan, it was a huge hassle to find out how to repair it- looks like it can only be repaired in Italy, Europe or the US so we are out of luck. Besides it breaking and having repair issues, it is a great machine that makes wonderful, frothy espresso. The steamer/foamer on the side is also a great function and I became a huge fan of lattes while my hubby was a diehard espresso junky while we had it and couldn't drink "normal" coffee at restaurants anymore, it truly spoiled us.
