Product Description

The Gaggia MDF Grinder is a commercial grade burr grinder equal to those found in Europe's espresso bars and restaurants. Automatic dosing allows a premeasured amount of ground coffee to drop directly into the filter holder. Pull the lever once for one cup espresso, or twice for 2 cups. Precision-machined grinding burrs can be easily adjusted for 39 different degrees of fineness. The large hopper holds 10 ounces of coffee beans. Easy to use and perfect results are achieved each time.

Gaggia, Italian for "plastic that breaks." We've had this grinder for a few months and a piece of plastic broke off of the doser gear. Now it is extremely difficult to get the ground coffee out of the machine. We also have one of the Gaggia Espresso machines -- the steamer wand broke recently, also plastic. Otherwise, both machines have done a good job.

This grinder works great. I am very happy with it. It has several measures to grind coffee so there is a setting for all tastes and needs.
It matches my coffee maker (Gaggia) perfectly and it is easy to clean.
Any coffee lover will appreciate the nuances and capabilities of this grinder.

I've had this grinder for about two years, purchased about six months after a Gaggia Carezza. Together they create wonderful espresso, lattes, and mochas.
