I use the mat wash after every yoga session. It cleans my yoga mats very well; better than soap and water and it leaves my mat sticky for the next yoga session. It's also good after hot yoga sessions. I also enjoy the clean, herbal scent and that it's more natural than soap.

Being a huge clean-freak, I found it necessary to have something to sanitize my yoga mat after sweaty sessions. Unfortunately, however, after using this product, my mat was VERY slippery, even after rinsing it with water numerous times. I do agree with previous reviews and think the cleaner smells nice, and did seem to do a good job cleaning the mat, but it is not worth the feeling that I am going to face-plant and break my nose when I start to slip during a downward dog.

This Mat Wash smells good and works. I still have great grip on my Pilates mat (if not better). The smell is a slightly earthy smell that is light and fragrant. Easy cleaning instructions included. It would be nice if they made a larger model, because this stuff works well.

Short story long: I used to do Bikram. I contracted some kind of skin fungus due to the bacteria breeding ground that is in all Bikram yoga studios (you know, carpet + sweaty masses + humid 105 degrees). It's all good, it cleared up with some creams from my Dermo, but it still FREAKED ME OUT.

Anyway, so I got this yoga mat wash and... I no longer feel like I'm about to go into a Hazmat situation now and make sure to disinfect my mat before (and after) every use. It smells good, and I feel like I'm a bit safer.

I also douse myself with NOW Foods Jojoba Oil Pure, 4 ounce after every shower since it's a natural fungicide (it also keeps my skin super soft, which is awesome during dry winter days).

I also no longer do Bikram.

I Love the smell, is not sticky and it cleans my yoga mat super good. I highly recommende it. I will always buy it. This brand is very nice!

While cleaning it gives pleasant odor and cleans well (didn't let my mat get too dirty though!)

It's a great option to avoid all the hassle (and potential harm) of placing your yoga mat in the washer. I'm giving it 4 stars because unlike other users, I didn't find the fragrance so charming. And it DOES make the mat quite slippery at first. You just need to make sure it's dry and maybe wait a little before using it.

I love this mat wash! It works amazing and smells good too! Highly Recommend!!!
