The first kettlebells were like cast iron cannon balls with handles. Now they come in a variety of bright shiny vinyl colors with black handles and in weight sizes from 4 lbs to 55 lbs or more. Once the secret weight training device of Russians, US military and martial arts devotees, they are now in mainstream fitness.

Different DVDs are popping up from the GOFIT series to Gin Miller's version of kettlebell training. They produced fast results, but still felt like all my other strength training DVDs.

I saw Kettlenetics on TV and decided to give it a try. Michelle Khai is a former dancer who created a routine with fluid like movements and smaller weight kettlebells. She used her routines to help the Miami City Ballet develop strength and prevent further injuries.

I ordered all the Kettlenetics 5 DVD set with a 4 lb kettle bell and the 2 DVD 8 lb kettle bell from the original web site. (Now you can only by these configurations from [...].)

I really enjoy the fluid body movements (which feel like dancing with weights) and the way my body feels after each workout.

This Kettlenetics kit (distributed by GAIAM) includes a 4 lb kettlebell, a small weight loss guide and three workouts on two Slim & Tone DVDs.

This is great for anyone just beginning to workout with kettlebells.

I am very pleased with this product and the dvd. Michelle is very experienced and pushes you just enough to get your heart rate up and when you feel like you might be on the verge on quitting she then gives you a slowdown break, it doesn't seem like you are doing much but I was sweating like crazy and very sore for a few days and I already do pilates and yoga and walk up hills. So enjoy, I am!!! My girls who are 7 and 9 years old like to do it with me. They are not quite able to do the entire routine with the kettlebell but they like the workout.
