The product is of a poor quality and the instructions on its assembly was not clear. Plus since the instructions were not clear I think that some of the product assembly parts were missing form the shipment.
Regards

This pump is exactly what I was looking for. I bought a stand alone fountain that uses an AC powered pump and wanted to get a solar powered pump so I could place the fountain in the backyard away from the house. I replaced the AC pump with this one and it works perfectly. UPDATE: This pump has been running strong without incident for 6 months now. I would highly recommend it for this type of application. It may not work well in a bird bath fountain.

I wouldn't buy this product.,

I also bought the solar water pump. I was putting together a memorial and worked hard to have it right. I put the fountain together, turned it on. Yippee it worked - boo hiss it only worked for two days. I thought about purchasing new batteries and pump but I am going to purchase a completely different system from a more reliable manufacturer. Thanks for reading

Don't Buy It!,

I agree that this is a very poor quality item! I would actually give it zero stars if I could. Mine worked great for about a week and then quit. I checked the pump and there was no blockage. Then one of the wires pulled out from the plug that attached to the solar panel. The company where I purchased it was great about sending me a new one, but it didn't work either. I switched to an electric-powered pump instead. Save your money and don't buy this solar pump!

I love this little pump. I built a fountain in my backyard in a spot that doesn't have electricity. It works great and the solar panel stores power so it continues working when clouds block the sun or even after dark, if it has stored enough power. I will be back to buy more to build more fountains for family members. The only thing I would improve upon would be a longer power cord. 15' is long but not long enough to be in constant sun for my location. It would also be nice to be able to get more plastic parts in case they break. No instructions or other correspondence come with this item.
