it's a cute, thin mat. My previous mat has a very strong smell, this one doesn't (actually, when you open first it has, just need to leave it unrolled for a while). Color is nice and it's not slippery.

I was expecting something a little bit thicker in padding. However, someone explained to me that the mat is suppose to be thinner to provide better support for various yoga positions. So I give the mat a high rating on being a Yoga mat only.

I am new to yoga, but I love this yoga mat. The size works perfectly and the design is very appealing.

This was my first yoga mat and it was perfect. I was able to perform positions with a heavy amount of weight on my knees and not feel a thing. Very durable product and relaxing design.

Mat is OK, after purchasing this found lots of other mats in the stores with same or better quality for lesser price.

I think it's a bit too thin. I don't want anything super thick, but this is overly thin. It is definately very pretty though. I love the design. Overall very nice yoga mat

Pros:

- Gaiam offers very pretty designs on their mats.
- Easy to roll up and store.
- Can be cleaned easily.

Cons:
- Not thick.
- Has plastic-y/rubbery smell.
- Not the most eco-friendly mat out there.

Conclusion: It's great if you want to throw it down over a tile or hardwood floor to do quick sit-ups, cardio, etc. However, as some other reviewers have pointed out, it has a smell and is thin so it's not so great for yoga (you can definitely feel the floor) or anything that you have to do that would put your nose inches from the mat (push-ups).

Very cute and comfortable. Nice grips and doesnt smell bad. Great bang for your buck.

This mat was very very thin. Much thinner than I had expected or any other at I had had before. It does have a good grip, however it is not comfortable and the design isn't really that great. If you are looking to spend 20-30 dollars on a mat, I would go for the $28 standard mat at lululemon. Much better use of your money.

Good looking yoga mat. It did smell strongly of chemically like fumes but we aired out on the patio & it'd dissipated in 24 hours. I use it for yoga & my very masculine husbands uses it for stretches before his own work out routine. I love the color. Petite - it's easy to roll up & stash under the den's couch!
