I have a slightly thicker mat and this bag was too small. The mat wouldn't fit at all, so I returned it and purchased a Bean yoga mat bag instead (also available on Amazon), which I love.

I absolutely love this bag. The adjustable handle is so convenient. It can be worn over the shoulder or across the chest or even in your hand. The mesh allows the bag to breathe in between sessions and the zipper is nice and sturdy. The fact that it's made out of recycled soda bottles makes it even better!

a little tight squeeze to get the mat in...don't see how you can carry additional things like cell phone, water, etc like the description says but good sturdy bag.

The bag was lovely,nicely constructed, beautiful color, however it did not fit my thick yoga mat. It would only hold a thin one.

My friend just started taking yoga classes and did not have a bag for her mat. I purchased this item because the company makes great products and the color complimented her mat. I was delighted with it when it arrived. My only regret was not purchasing one for myself. Needless to say, she loves it too and gets many compliments from others.

I bought this as a gift for a friend and she loves it. It is a great color and texture and really like the mesh cut out for breathability. I think I may order one for myself!

item is just as described, as some stated it may be on the small side (you would not fit a block in the bag with your mat, but you can easily fit a strap). If you are looking for something to haul all your gear around buy a gym bag, this is a yoga mat bag & serves its purpose quite well in my opinion.

this bag does a great job, now if only it wasn't such a chore to get the mat in the bag. Not the bags fault, just can't be bothered sometimes. The bag is well made and durable and if you're not me, the mat will work out quite nicely in this bag.

It fits the Gaiam mat I have perfectly and I live the breathing feature on the bag for the mat. I also like that it is a recycled product.

I can't say this yoga mat is any more special than any other but it was the right price (on sale) and, since I often leave my mat at the yoga studio, its color lets me pick it out from the piles of other students' mats. Oh and it washes well too.
