About Michelle Khai:
Kettlenetics Slim and Tone was created by international fitness sensation Michelle Khai, a lifelong fitness advocate, former professional dancer, and all-star celebrity trainer. Michelle has been working with world-class ballet dancers from the NYC Ballet and Miami City Ballet for years, creating custom body-slimming kettlebell workouts to help the dancers strengthen and tone muscles while staying sleek and slender. Now, for the first time ever, she has made that program available to everyone.

Having discovered the "swing secrets" to quickly slimming and toning dancers' bodies, Michelle decided to create an all-new kettlebell workout that would create amazing results for women everywhere. Unable to find a kettlebell that would work with her program, Michelle set about creating her very own kBell that is light enough for graceful fluid movement and heavy enough for fast, body-sculpting results. Michelle owns Soma Fitness And Performance in South Beach, Florida, and continues to lead kettlebell training research.

I purchase the kettlenetics program when it first came out in June 2008. Within the first week I started to notice a difference. It is a fun workout that targets all different muscle groups. One con that I did have in the beginning was that I had trouble following the routine. I am not naturally coordinated and have no dance background, so while following the quicker paced movements might be easy for some, it took me a few days to be able to get through the routine. If you are going to do this program I also recommend additional cardiovascular training. I was not in shape at all when I started and could barely get through a video without stopping to catch my breath.

Overall if you are willing to put in the time and the effort this is a great tool to get slim and toned

This was the first time I've ever ordered a DVD workout. I thought about the 10 minute version of P90-X but it looked boring to me. I ordered Kettlenetics because it seemed to be low impact, different, exciting and without a lot of grunting and groaning. This workout is no joke! I have been in a boot camp exercise program before but this little Asian lady kicks my butt! The moves are elegant and graceful but half way through the workout you are begging for mercy. I've had it for about two weeks and my thighs have definition, my arms are more slender. Still working on the abs but that's pretty much all my fault because I have a thing for 7-11's glazed donuts. Best low impact workout ever! I love it.

I workout and do cardio. (I am 36yo female) I can be on the treadmill running for 30 minutes and barely break a sweat. I do this for 20 minutes and even my hair is even wet I can't believe it. This is such a quality product and for the price you can't beat it for what you get anywhere.

Just remember to do the "Flow Motion Basics" disk first. If you are like me you want to jump right into it, but you are only hurting yourself. Get the DVD 1 basics down (20 minutes) at least once and move to DVD2 "Slim and Tone". I did them the same day following one another.(Friday) I was actually sore in my middle back the next day and I don't think I ever have been.

Definately wait day in between the real workouts. I then jumped to the cardio balance DVD 3 for 40 minutes on the Sunday. I thought I was going to die. I thought I was fit but I guess NOT SO MUCH. I took one break and drank some water but I made it through the disk.

I used this for 6 weeks 3 times a week and I have lost 10 pound and toned up BIGTIME my arms, legs and hip area. Lines in my stomach are now visable and it's great. I actually canceled my gym membership and do this at home in the early morning before work.

P.S. 4 pounds is PLENTY. I thought it would not be BUT IT IS!!!"

I purchased this the end of January 2009. I was a size 24 when I started using the videos, and by June 2009 I was a size 14.

First of all, I have a physical handicap in my hands that make it hard for me to hold the kettlebell. But with help from a friend we figured out a way to make it easier for me to hold the kettlebell for the exercizes.
I have never sweat so much in my life! When I first purchased it, I had to stop and slam lots of water & take a breather because I was unable to do it all. I walked through it when it got to parts I was unable to do. I remember my thighs and my butt ached so bad at first, but my clothes started fitting me alot better...then they started getting baggy within the first 3 weeks! By the third month I was able to use the video's all the way through without stopping.

When I started using the Kettlenetics I was diabetic, had a bp that always ran at 145/90, my bad cholesterol was REALLY bad and my good cholesterol was NOWHERE near good (if that makes sense LOL). In May 2009, I ended up going off my diabetic medication, my blood pressure medication and my cholesterol medication.

In November of 2009 I got ill and had to quit using the video's, and I gained some of the weight back (I went up to a size 22).

It took 3 doctors from November 2009 to March 2011 to figure out what was wrong with me, in March 2011 I was diagnosed with Lupus & Rheumatoid Arthritis. I began exercizing on my bed (small stuff)in August 2011. I started using the Kettlenetics again 2 months ago. I modify ALOT to compensate for my pain level, but I am already seeing a difference. I am now a size 16 again!! :) And I feel really good.

I've only recently discovered kettlebells, and am quite in love with them now.

Kettlenetics is not quite real kettlebell training, but instead is a fusion between kettlebells and dance. If you're looking for the hardcore kettlebell training, you aren't going to find it here.

However, if you're looking for a workout that will move your body, get you using muscles that you haven't necessarily used before, rev your heart rate up, and make you feel good afterwards, this will do all of the above.

The kbell is small, only 4 pounds, much smaller than the kettlebells that I use in my regular kettlebell training, but it works for the moves that Michelle Kai has developed. The flowing graceful dance moves just would not work with an 18lb, 26lb, or even larger kettlebell. The size of this small kettlebell gives you enough resistance to help you with good form in the movements, without putting too much strain on you, especially if you aren't used to working with a kettlebell, which is intensely different than any other kind of weight training.
