4.0 out of 5 stars Amateur Editor reviews Gaia's Rebirth, March 16, 2004

This review is from: Gaia's Rebirth (Hardcover)
The book is an interesting work combining scientific fact with Native American and Mayan prophecy. This is the author's first attempt at writing a novel lengthed piece. There is need for more character development and a stronger, more coherent plot line. But, I find it interesting that since initially editing the book in the summer of 2002 and doing an additional edit in the Summer of 2003, that much of what is suggested in the book has roots.
It has slow spots. Yet there is enough edge created to drive the reader to finish the book. Keep an open mind. Keep in mind when the book was written and what has occurred since then.
2 years ago I would have never predicted permanent scientific forays to the moon. But the current administration is suggesting it's where we should go. We have been surprised by the intensity of some recent solar flares. Is this book science fiction? Or has prophecy and science come together to offer a plausible explanation for a major cataclysmic change on earth?
