I can barely believe I'm saying this, but the music isn't even the best thing on this DVD. The interviews with the past members were golden and just fill in an already great story of a group that has gone through changes that would have destroyed any other group.

Musically I have one warning (SPOILER ALERT!!!) there is a hefty dose of post-production dubbing that is very evident. As wonderful as some of the older members were/are, their voices are beginning to betray them. I don't hold this against them, and would have preferred to simply hear what actually happened there in the studio, whether it was perfect or not, rather than hear an obvious overdub later. Singular gripe over.

The true gems on the DVD are the songs where groupings of guys that have never sung together are thrown together and sound like they'd been a touring group for a decade. That and any song Michael English is involved in: WELCOME BACK MICHAEL!!! And of course, David Phelps just ices everything throughout both DVDs.

This set of videos are so wonderful. It was really great to get to see many of the former members of the band. I wish they ALL would have been there. I especially loved the personal interviews Bill did with them. It really gave a personal touch to the whole thing. All I can say is Michael English rocks!!! I just love his music and it seems he just gets better. I was so impressed with ALL of the guys. I'll really miss Guy and Marshall. I am really looking forward to the band's concerts in my area. Wouldn't miss it for anything.

I love it. There are folks there that I do not know, but I feel as though I almost know them. What a touching and tender experience, listening to Mr. Gaither's interview with men who were, or had been, in his band of singers. Volume two will be coming soon to my house.

It is such a good thing that the Gaither's do. They are not only instrumental in keeping a large group of believers in touch with one another, but they keep their own arms open wide. I wish I had known more folks like that when I was a young woman. Every believer needs to know some folks like that, because we need support systems, not hangmen.

In my way of thinking, the Gaithers, and some of their people really do tend to follow the teachings of Christ. Imagine that! When I hear Guy, David, Mark, Ernie, or others talking about God's grace, it thrills my soul. Believe it folks, because it is real, and it works. There is just something really special about the love of such good folks. "Sometimes we pray, and sometimes we swear," but God's grace is sufficient, so we must be kind to ourselves as well as to others.

I love the words in the songs, and I listen to them and say, "Yeah." There are good messages in the songs and speeches. This album is personal and I felt more like I was a part of it, rather than just a person in the living room watching the TV screen. Thank you for the DVD, and for the opportunity to be a part of your music and fellowship.

This is a DVD that I really, really like. It has all of the people from the Gaither Band in the past and they are reunited with the gaither Vocal Band in the present and boy!!! do they bring together some great gospel singing... also, the new Vocal Band is viewed ( I love them) as well as Guy Penrod ( whom I miss terribly). This is a great DVD, I enjoy listening to it so much.

Purchased as a gift. Recipient watches it or one other every night with tears in her eyes. Obviously a tremendous hit!

I just starting watching these Gaither programs and got hooked! This DVD gives you the best of all the Vocal Bands have too offer. It's simply uplifting music that warms your soul. Since I have been disabled for many years now, I miss going to church. But this DVD and the others that Bill Gaither offers is a God sent. Anyone who is looking for GREAT, GREAT music, I recommend it. Keep singing Vocal Band, God has certainly blessed you...

This was a hit again; typical Gaither style. Gave several as Christmas gifts - very well received. Fun reunion style, great entertainment for my parents who remember so many of these groups from the years past. Great compilation.

Both Volumes of the Gaither Reunion are just as wonderful as Southern Gospel gets. For someone who doesn't know the Gaither group and history, I recommend watching Volume Two first. Volume Two is less dependent on history. Volume One has more interviews and references to people and events which are delightful and touching if you have followed Gaither for years. If you are new to the group, they might seem oblique. After seeing Volume two, then One would make more sense.

This is an awesome DVD. If you love the Gaither Vocal Band like I do-you'll really enjoy this DVD. As an added plus you get a history of the GVB and get to meet & hear former members.

I recently received this DVD and it was great to see all of the members and former members of the wonderful Gaither Vocal Band(s).

I also enjoyed the interviews with former members. The one thing that blew me away, though, is how old some of the members look now! In particular, Guy Penrod and Mark Lowry. Bill Gaither looks exactly the same. I know the years are passing by, but even so, it really shocked me.

Some of the members were before my time, apparently, but still, it was great to see everyone on this DVD. I think you will enjoy it all. I did.
