these album has some of the best songs of the brazil music ( and the world music too) Jobim was a superb composer and gal at these moment of his life sing these songs with a strange , soft and nice voice. If you love the brazilian music, the latin music or only the good music these is a excellent moment for met the nice music of brazil

I fell in love with Brazilian music about four years ago. Since that time, I have purchased about 50 CDs of Brazilian music. "Canta Jobim" is my favorite, by far. When I first heard this CD, I was so in love with it, I could hardly listen to anything else for months, and I am not normally an obsessive person. I bought the DVD of this concert even before I had a DVD player! More than two years later, I still listen to it regularly and I have shared it with people I care about. I adore Gal Costa and have several other of her CDs, which I enjoy, but this is the best. I also have many other CDs of Jobim music, and this is the best. This features a superb singer at her peak, accompanied by a competent group of musicians, performing superlative material. If you love Brazilian music, this CD will not disappoint.
