The Future Of World Music,
By Andy Uterano (New York, NYUSA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Galactic Caravan (Audio CD)
This album just blew me away. It really proves that music is the universal language of this planet. There are artists from Egypt, Algeria, Pakistan etc. and through the treatment that Steven Last gave the music it can appeal to anyone. There are ethnic elements which sound totally hip, and cool for people living in the Western World. It could be described as a Mobyesque record having world music elements, instead of R&B or Blues elements that Moby uses.

This cd got me up out of my chair and shimmying! It's an infectious and fun collection! One of my fave cds to dance to -- and I listen to it in the car if I have to drive late and need to stay awake on the road -- can't fall asleep if you feel like dancing!

Contemporary, non-traditional bellydance music. Excellent songs I use to choreograph numbers to for class or performance. One of my fav cds right now.
