Good game - nice new version of an old classic. The graphics blend well and compliment the Galaga game nicely and the audio is pretty good as well. I like the extra "skins" you can apply to the ship and enemies for a different look and feel to game. The better you do/play the more skins you unlock.

The game is challenging though. Enough to make you want to stop playing sometimes after your first try. Mainly if you accomplish passing the first level and make it to the second and then game over pretty quickly from there - you'll not want to start all over again.

If you're an acheivement nut - you'll stop playing after dying - if your not you'll play a couple more times then head back to your game library for something new.

I will admit i wasnt lining up to play and purchase this game but i was browsing on Amazon and came across this game on sale for [...] the deal was to good to pass up so i purchased the download code. At first i thought this game was impossible and only last night did i manage to make it past area 2 with only 2 lives left and immidiatly dying in Area 3. It took me awhile to learn how to use the satelites properly and even realizing this was a game mechanic (note: read the how to because it helps even though the controls arent too involve) Once i learned about the satelites the game opened up this whole new level of stragedy, that coupled with the option of 2 additional graphical filters Vintage and Ancient (Vintage being my personal fave)The graphical filters just give the look of the game a more retro look with blocky pixels which i think is way cool make for an awesome game that i have been choosing to play when i am too tired to continue my Gears 2 campaign.
