Based on the classic 1980s arcade game, Galaga will have players once again blasting wave after wave of aliens as a lone starfighter pilot. The alien invaders have already destroyed the rest of the fleet, and it is now up to you to stop their advance towards Earth. While the game is set in a 3-D universe, players can still choose the classic top-down view, as well as behind-the-ship and side-scrolling views. There are 10 levels, each containing different challenges and bonus rounds. During the course of the game, players can collect new weapons to add to their arsenal, including aliens.

Galaga does not come with newest version of DirectX and 7a version does not work with Galaga. DirectX 5.0 seems to work best with the program, but does not give the user the latest and fastest video graphics. Galaga PC version also does not work well with all controllers.

Hasbro/Namco could have done a lot better with these 2 items. The game itself is fun to play once everything is programmed. However, it is not the old Galaga of 20 years ago everyone wanted.

I am 8 years old and I like space games. I like Galaga's graphics, music and level of difficulty. The plot is interesting. It's a little hard to play with the keyboard so I suggest having a joystick. I recommend this game.

I purchased this game used at a very cheap price thinking I was getting the original arcade version. I was disapointed when I played it as it is not that game.
