Excellent field identification leaflet,

This plastic coated leaflet has excellent illustrations of creatures you are likely to see in the Galapagos Islands. We found it excellent for identifying birds and other creatures in the field and in our photographs later. There is not much information beyond the pictures and names and it is not fully comprehensive. For example, it does not deal with all the finches. For its purpose, its size, weight and durability are excellent and its simplicity makes it very quick to use

This laminated, folded reference for the species you are likely to encounter in a trip to the Galapagos Islands is excellent. The pictures are very realistic, plus it includes the Latin names so that you can cross-reference the animal to a detailed guidebook or reference later. There are even short notes, such as "The similar Santa Fe land iguana is found only on Santa Fe Island" (if you are lucky enough to get to Santa Fe Island!).
As our recent trip to the Galapagos included snorkeling (and yours might too), I greatly appreciated the page on Nearshore Fishes.

This folded card showing many of the animals you'll see in the Galapagos is very handy to use. Size and organization allow quick identification of the bird, fish or reptile you are seeing.

An easy, small and quick reference to the wildlife of the Galapagos Islands. Fits in most pockets or backpacks without taking up much space or weight and the fold out, water proof pamphlet is perfect for a quick reference of what you are seeing in front of you.
