5.0 out of 5 stars A read that many young readers will relish
Orphans one day, intergalactic space travelers the next. "The Galaxy Boys and the Sphere" follows four young brothers as they come across this exciting new lifestyle of racing across the galaxy. It'd be cooler if they weren't being chased and fleeing from their lives, though. An offbeat and original science fiction adventure for younger-adult readers, "The Galaxy Boys" is...

1.0 out of 5 stars Inconsistent, amaeurish mediocre story development
I just bought this book for my nephew's birthday. And, he could not even finish reading it and wished to return it to the store. And, unlike the cover pictures, I could not believe the storyline is rather banal and characters are not-so-creative. The author probably tried to recap the brotherhood once he cherished in his time. But it is distracting and inconsistent in the...

I just bought this book for my nephew's birthday. And, he could not even finish reading it and wished to return it to the store. And, unlike the cover pictures, I could not believe the storyline is rather banal and characters are not-so-creative. The author probably tried to recap the brotherhood once he cherished in his time. But it is distracting and inconsistent in the story development. And, I don't find any genuine lesson that children can truly believe. Maybe the author did not believe in it or did not know how to engage himself with the readers-children. I would not recommend this book to any children I know. Major Disappointment!

5.0 out of 5 stars Exciting, funny and very touching!, July 18, 2008
This story is almost believable -- that four brothers could travel the galaxy. Maybe some day. It had good laughs and GREAT characters without any contrivance. It's so visually exciting that it's easy to see how this would make a fantastic movie. I can't recommend this more highly to young children and young adults.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great adventure story !, November 9, 2007
This review is from: The Galaxy Boys and the Sphere (Hardcover)
This was an interesting and fun story with some intriguing twists and some cool characters. I enjoyed the adventures and the way the plot unfolded with the four galaxy boys and their travels to new and distant planets.

5.0 out of 5 stars EXCITING! Can't wait for the next story!, December 16, 2007
This review is from: The Galaxy Boys and the Sphere (Hardcover)
I would love to fly through thin space with these boys! The author makes each step in the adventure seem so possible that I held my breath when things got scary. The characters all could be real people because none of them are perfect, but everyone decides to work together for the greater good, except the villians, of course. The philosophy is very good and clear and such that anyone reading The Galaxy Boys will get the messages. Should be a must book in every school library and in all public libraries too. Read it, you'll love it!
