I never really go back and give bad reviews to hardware because I eventually get anything that has issues RMA'd without any issues. Since I got the card it's crashed consistently on high end games. I went through and did the check for any issues with my system, put it in another, updated drivers, etc. etc.

When I ultimately realized that it was the card and nothing on my end, I contacted Galaxy and got the runaround for six weeks. Their phone support is useless and refers me to the ticket system on their site. Their ticket system will take up to a week to get back to you, ask you the same questions over and over again, and then finally bounce you to the RMA department. Surprise, surprise, they'll also ask you the same questions and take a week to get back to you. I'm in week six right now and I had to go buy a new card because they were taking so long. Still no end to this in sight.

This is the first and last time I buy a Galaxy card.

If you are unlucky enough to have a defective card, getting a replacement from galaxy is going to be extremely difficult and time-consuming. Their customer service is virtually non-existent. Sometimes they choose to ignore your emails altogether.

It may be prudent to purchase from a different-brand card.

Not much to say about this really. It's the cheapest 670 on the market right now and comes with a factory OC. It looks nice, idles in the 40's and seems to overclock well via EVGA Precision X. Gives me a constant 60FPS in GTA IV and BF3 maxed at 1080p with a 2700k.

I've only had this GTX 670 for a few weeks, but so far I am extremely happy with it. The overclock on it puts its performance beyond a stock GTX 680. This is about the fastest there is without overclocking it yourself, which may or may not bring up issues with the warranty.

The only game I've been able to play with it is Battlefield 3. I have a 24" monitor running 1920x1080. With the in-game settings on "Ultra" and the V-Sync turned on, the frame rates are as smooth as I could possibly ask. I don't know if they're 60+ FPS or not because it's fast enough that I don't see any lag.

With the card fan turned up to 70% manually, the temp never goes over 70C. It's not super quiet, but it's super fast and runs cool enough for me to not be worried about frying it.

This is my first Galaxy after years of PNY and then EVGA. I think it's a quality card.

FYI, I'm running an AMD 1100T clocked at 3.4 GHz with 8GB of generic RAM. I also have a BFG 650W PSU. If you have a fairly modern setup, you'll see at least as good of results as me.

The card is great. Its a reference GTX 670. The pcb even says nvidia on it! It is currently destroying Borderlands 2.

The bad:
I sent in all the rebate stuff. The first bummer, is that you have to pay $2 to get your cash card sent back in a reasonable amount of time.
Second bummer was they rejected my claim. I think amazon puts a sticker over the bar code. Rather than remove sticker they rejected me. They refuse to answer emails. So I recommend anyone looking to get this card to not expect that refund card EVER.

I5-2500K OC to 4G under Hyper 212 EVO, 8GB DDR3 on 1600 XMP settings
Galaxy GTX 670 GC at stock with GTX 460 V2 as dedicated Physx. 1080p native 22" and Vsync to 60FPS

BF3 maxed to the hilt: rock steady 60FPS in campaign (much more demanding than multiplayer)
Skyrim HD pack: 60FPS
Batman AC maxed to the hilt with extreme Physx: 45-60FPS
Heaven benchmark maxed to the hilt: 49FPS

What a great card! And get this - I'm running this on an EVGA board that only offers 8X PCIE 2.0. So if you have 16x PCIE 2, or 8x and up PCIE3 (PCIE3 8x is same as PCIE2 16x), you will get even better results! You should get about 5-8% more performance. In other words, this is just great even for 8x people, although a bit better (although it wouldn't make a difference in my case, I'm already at the 60fps max for most games) on 16x.

There is absolutely NO NEED to overclock this card.. because Galaxy already did a fine job of it!

Temperatures peak at 68C only in Batman AC with extreme Physx - but I am in a very very warm 85-90F room. Fan gets loud only over 60%, but not a bothersome noise at all. Think of a room fan.

And if anyone is wondering - YES, having a dedicated physx card will help your 670 in physx games. However, it needs to be a good card too or else it will bottleneck the 670. I got about 8-12FPS more using a dedicated card. Therefore, it is not absolutely necessary, although the difference is noticable. In heavy physx my 460 utilization goes up to about 80%. Too bad I can't overclock my GPU2 using afterburner, as it is capable of running stably at 975MHZ. Stock 810MHZ is doing fine, though.
