Wow - what an amazing book!,
This review is from: Galileo's Universe (Creative Editions) (Hardcover)
You'll be WOWed by this book.
Grandma got this for our three year old daughter who loves stars and stuff. It's probably the most beautiful popup book I've ever seen - complex, intricate popups that illustrate astronomy, physics and Galileo's life - little levers to pull and sliders to move make it fun for her while you'll be amazed by the artwork and mechanics of the popups themselves. This isn't a book that I think my daughter would read on her own, not for a few years anyway, but she loves being read to, and this one makes for a break from dreary board books into something substantive and magical at the same time. You'll love this book!

review of Galileo's Universe,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Galileo's Universe (Creative Editions) (Hardcover)
This book is probably most enjoyable for an older elementary school child because it has philosophical issues which require critical thinking. A younger child can still enjoy it on a more limited basis and can "grow into it."
