Maltitol acts like sugar, might as well eat sugar,

I have not tried this bar. It may taste fabulous but I will never know because they put maltitol in it and I will not eat maltitol. I have a blood sugar monitor and several times after eating maltitol chocolate my blood sugar spiked. I think it's a scam to say it's sugar-free when it acts just like sugar.
