Was skeptical but results were great,

My 5 & 7 year old daughters each received this kit as a gift. It is a multi-day project that we worked on over 2 days for about 30 minutes each session. I was very skeptical after reading the directions which warned of the importance of a steady hand and the value of practice. I did the outlining step for my 5 year old, and helped my 7 year old. Both girls did their own painting, pretty much ignoring the suggested color scheme. Despite all the imperfections that went into each piece (wavering lines of varying thickness, air bubbles in the paints, etc) the results were fantastic. Both kids were thrilled with their creations and it was a great way to fill a couple winter afternoons.

Gave this kit to a teenage niece. Its a great kit with 3 activities. 1 large, 2 small. Niece had a hard time getting "leading" on smoothly but otherwise great.
