From the initial electro-tinged chords of his own Common Ground single, through Steve Lawlers Illectronic Music, to the tough chords of Eric Es Dont Stop and his current buzz track, Got It, Tall Pauls set is an journey through the music that fires the Gallery faithful, peaking with tunes from Max Graham, Gabriel & Dresden, Eric Prydz under his Pryda guise, and DT8s Winter.
Benny Benassi, meanwhile, delivers a mix that moves from upfront electro cuts to leftfield house and back again. He builds from Mark Knight & MTV feat. EMans A New Reality and DJ Kozes Brutalga Square, to the neo-industrial crunk of Konfekts Ra (Bammel) and Alex Neris gloriously uplifting piano cut, Aurora. Standout tracks towards the close include sublime moments from Swayzak, FB (Bennys collaboration with Ferry Corsten and another album exclusive), and Etienne de Crecy.

The person who claimed to have this CD really DID NOT have it. I got a refund pretty quick from Amazon. AVOID THIS SELLER IF YOU CAN.

Pretty Good Stuff,

When I first got this CD a couple of days ago I was initially blown away by the first song and the last one from Tall Paul. "Common Ground" is an outstanding introduction to the CD and you can almost feel that you are in the Gallery when listening to it. As someone that has many CD's from Van Burren, Van Dyk, Tiesto, and Oakenfold I have begun to look for other artists that can move me in a similar way as they can. While Tall Paul doesnt really mix in the same style as the above mentioned artists I really enjoyed the CD after listening to it a couple of times.
The first song represents a lush and energetic introduction to the CD and while there are some ebbs and flows in the middle he caps it off nicely with tracks 10-12, with 12 finishing really strong. I would definitely recommend this CD if only for Tall Paul's contribution. As for the second CD mixed by Benny Benassi, I have never heard of him before and felt that he did a fair job with his mix. The CD starts off really slow and doesnt start to get into a good beat until the 4th or 5th song, way to long for me to wait. Once again, Benny's style is a little different than the big 3 or 4 that most trance fans are used to. If you want to see a good live set, check out Armin Van Burren any chance you get. After seeing Oakenfold, Van Dyk and Tiesto live previously Van Burren definitely was the most exciting and provided nonstop energy throughout the mix.
