Jack Lane is one of America's most talented artists and his groundbreaking book is a Hollywood star. You can't understand the fascinating stories of our most famous actors without owning it. It's a great gift for anyone interested in tbe inside and unknown stories of the famous people who really created Hollywood. It's going to be a classic.

I found the book to be extremely informative, entertaining, and a wonderful glimpse into the history of some of Hollywood's legendary celebrities. Loaded with historical photos and many great caricatures of the stars, along with fun to read personal recollections by the author of each sitting, it gives a real flavor of the glory days of Hollywood. Highly recommended!

A Gallery of Stars is absolutely delightful. After reading it, I feel as though I've been told the story of Hollywood in vaudeville-verse, by a man who was a resident of its vortex, providing insights into the people and the time like no other book I've ever encountered. And the reproductions of the author's Brown Derby caricatures are fantastic. This volume is a keeper!!!!!

This book is a timeless gem worth reading and rereading that I recommend to readers of all ages. My children and grandchildren and I enjoyed this book from different viewpoints but agree it is a must read.
