With HealthLog, you can conveniently and easily track your weight, exercise level, and health condition right on your Android device.

Track Key Data Points

HealthLog lets you enter as much or as little data as you like, and then track it. Start by entering the basics, such as your height, weight, gender, and a few other parameters. You can even add your last health checkup, and if a year has passed since, HealthLog will notify you. Moving forward, you can enter the type and length of exercises you performed, hours of sleep, amount of alcohol and water intake, mood, and much more. There are dozens of built-in data tracking points to select from.

Make Your Data Useful

There are seven different graph categories, including weight, BMI, blood pressure, workout sessions, and a variety of individual exercises.

Customizable Settings

Make sure HealthLog works for you by adjusting the settings as needed. You can choose which day marks the beginning of the week and adjust touch sensitivity. Keep your data secure by setting up a password and backing it up to your device's SD card.

A memo feature is also included so you can record notes, observations, and motivations to keep you on track.

1.0 out of 5 stars Lacking April 5, 2012

I like the concept that this app is focusing on health but it's really incomplete.

1. Wants you to track weight, body fat % and BMI not just every day but twice a day....that doesn't seem particularly healthy, more obsessive than healthy.
2. No place to track nutritional goals.
3. So many exercises missing. There are a bazillion apps that have way more exercises and I don't need internet access to use them, so why use this one? For example, hiking is missing?
4. I couldn't enter my height in feet and inches as the way they have you enter this data is with a calculator...not at all accurate or simple.

I won't go into the good points since the flaws vastly outweigh them and I could continue to list even more but those are some of the major ones. In a nutshell, this app doesn't feel finished and I will be removing it from my device, pronto.

I found nothing wrong with the color scheme or font as some users complained about...perhaps they've updated this issue.

1.0 out of 5 stars cardiotrainer is better April 5, 2012

good idea, but bad app. messy setup, data entry not easy to read (ex: 5'10" is entered at 5.83 feet). go with cardiotrainer + pro module. does all this app claims to do, and more, in a way more user friendly package.

3.0 out of 5 stars not bad. but needs a few tweaks. April 5, 2012
Verified Purchase
This app helps you track many aspects of a daily exorcise routine. for those on advanced work out schedule like say PX90 its a handy tool.
there are a few issues I see with it. first why do I need to track my weight and BMI multiple times a day? second a lot went into tracking weight and exorcise but no calorie counter? lastly the color scheme is really bad. York fonts are too close to the background colors that it is very hard to read them. these need to be addressed. oh and why full net access?

1.0 out of 5 stars Twice a day? April 5, 2012
By ofic
There can be one reason for recording daily weight gains and that's if you are susceptible to congestive heart failure to be aware of sudden water retention. No reason to do it twice a day.
Curious that the photos show Chinese when Amazon won't sell apps to the Far East. The number of Chinese speaking buyers that this app is availble to must be miniscule.
Lastly, not for Kindle Fire as camera is "required".

1.0 out of 5 stars English? And, Very Bad 'Health' Metrics April 5, 2012
By Curious
The photos selected to showcase the app are not in English. Shouldn't an app of the day be accessible (language -wise) to most of us? And certainly to those on the same continent as Amazon... I've made a study of health & fitness. Everything I've ever read or heard says that weighing yourself every day is too much & too obsessive. A system such as this app's that asks you to weigh in 2x/day is ridiculous. And is instead unhealthy psychologically... Skip this app.

This app has more than a few issues. It wants you to weigh twice a day. Nutrition classes and doctors tell you once per week. Your weight can vary day to day based on a lot of issues like water retention and weighing twice a day is excessive and can be discouraging.

It wants you to log your exercise into their data sheet style and log the minutes you exercise as well as the distance in some cases.

It wants you to enter a lot of medical data like blood pressure and pulse but for your meal record you only have to take a photo. Whatever happened to tracking calories which is where your weight loss or gain comes from?

It wants you to track your sleep, bowel movements, alcohol intake, water consumed and mood.

This app seems over the top as far as asking for detailed data but it is not involved with nutrition or calorie consumption at all. I also don't like having to enter my height into a table by tenths of a foot. It also allows you to take photos of your meals and yourself. Not possible on the Kindle Fire so you can't track your meals at all.

The exercise list is limited and needs to be expanded quite a bit.

It seems that the most exercise you will get with this app is typing data into your Android device. Unfortunately you are not tracking some of the most important data that you need to monitor. This app seems to me like a beginning list of items to start asking but it falls far short of being complete. There are a lot of apps out there that are much better than this one and they are more complete in their format and data collection. This app needs a lot of work!

3.0 out of 5 stars Good start - needs refinement April 5, 2012
By Lavy
Verified Purchase
As many reviewers have stated, there are some globalization issues. However, some issues stated in the reviews are misleading or false. The application does calculate BMI from height and weight, and it allows us to enter our data twice a day, but works just fine with whatever data we enter (once a day / week / etc.). Healthlog should allow for height entry in inches, cm, and m. Also, graph legends overlap with English (and likely most other western language) text. For the no speak Chinese review, you clearly don't speak Japanese either, but you do get partial credit for recognizing Chinese characters.

3.0 out of 5 stars My Fitness Pal is better April 5, 2012
My Fitness Pal is better and free. You can scan food barcodes and keep track of your food easier, very large database of preprogrammed foods already. Keep track of exercises also. Check it out you won't regret it.
