This 18 gallon oil extractor is a novel do it all oil drain pan and suction extractor but needs refining. First do not make the mistake I did by assuming that because some of the connections are pre assembled with silicone tape and glued in place they will not leak. They do, and will if any oil is left in the tank overnight. The flanges are thin so be careful not to tighten them down too much with the mating cast iron parts. A venturi valve is used to develope suction which takes a lot of air to run and if there is no fluid to suck vaccuum is lost quickly. Overall with enough tinkering it does a sub par job and will not create a mess equivelent to draining the oil directly onto the floor. Straight out of the box it is a waste of space that will turn your garage into an oil slick. Save your time and money until the bugs are worked out.
