I purchased 3 of these bottles to use for an emergency water supply. These bottles are of the same quality as the ones that the major water cooler suppliers use. They're very durable. Each bottle comes with a screw on cap. The handle makes them much easier to carry than the bottles without handles, although five gallons of water is still fairly heavy. This is a very good product that I would definitely purchase again if the need ever arises.

You can find 5 gallon water storage containers for less, but this one makes a good replacement for the fragile water bottle that comes with the Petmate Le Bistro Pet Watering System. I did a lot of shopping around, & this seems to be about the best alternative for the money to fit that function.

This bottle does have a #7 on the bottom :( There is no way to tell if its the new safe 7 or the old bad 7. I'm using it to get water at a spring and its kept in the dark. I figure the good water will counter the bad plastic. :)

The cap is great and I use this with a hand pump (also available on Amazon) and I'm very happy.

By the water section, Culligan sells these bottles, caps and all for $7. Refill it also for .37 cents each. Put a pump on it..and whallla...instead drinking water. Instead of water delivery of nearly $1.85 per gallon I spend .37. That's just crazy savings.

I was buying bottled water from Culligan, it was $6.15 / 5 gal. I now use these bottles and refill them at the grocery store at the Glacier water machine. I now pay $1.25 for 5 gallons. These days with gas being so much I can not afford delivered water.

I use this water bottle as a piggy bank, I have to say this is the best piggy bank that I have ever had and ever will. I cut a slit on the top and I permantly glued the cap on the bottle. I am on my second one. (My first one was 1/3 full and I got over $800.00 in coins - Yes I opened it, due to a rainy day) but I love this water bottle.

Order this for my office trailer plus a hand pump. Limited in space so I order two. I was filling (2) two one gallon jugs for my trailer. These have handles and when I fill them I use a Watts filter. Watts water filter will make your water taste great. Cheaper than having water service.
Note; these jugs comes with screw on caps. Don't buy the plastic push on caps. Don't need them. Plastic caps was 1.99. Not worth my time or money to sent them back.

I bought this as a replacement for an older bottle that had no handle and a snap-on lid. Let me tell you, this one is SO much easier to handle. The handle makes it less awkward to carry and the screw-on cap means it doesn't spill when you tilt it sideways. I'll be buying another one soon to replace my other old bottle!

I use this for a demo in my chem class. This one works well. Bit different shape then I am used to, but it works nicely!
