Book Description

A year after they saved each other’s lives in The Druid Stone and eager to return a little bit of intensity to a sex-life that's been put on the backburner, Cormac and Sean book a weekend in Galway with no limits and no distractions. Cormac has a few ideas on how to spice things up and the bag full of kinky surprises he needs to make them happen: a spreader bar, a brand new toy or two, and even Sean’s own belt. But once the cuffs get buckled, just how far can he push Sean... and himself?

“Galway Bound” is a BDSM short featuring Sean and Cormac from the urban fantasy M/M series Layers of the Otherworld, but the only magic here is what’s happening in their bed. Fans of the series and new readers alike will all find a little something to love in this erotic story.

Length: 10k. Contains D/s, impact play, edging/orgasm denial, bondage, toys, light voyeurism.

5.0 out of 5 stars I absolutely loved it November 5, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition

This is an erotic follow up to Druid stone, which I highly recommend you should read first. I mean, you can read this one without reading the long story and you will still enjoy this short as erotic BDSM between two lovers, but it will have so much more impact if you know Cormac and Sean before you get to observe them playing BDSM game. I think that even in this short the love between them is obvious though and my god the sex is hot, scorching hot. This is the sex scene which I would never ever skip. :)

4.0 out of 5 stars Short & Steamy But Very Intense Read October 17, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
For those readers who love to revisit their favorite couples, Galway Bound offers you that and so much more. After the life and death circumstances of the previous book in this series, The Druid Stone, life has become rather blasé for lovers Cormac and Sean. A return visit to Galway is just what they need to rekindle the flame and my oh my how things do burn! What follows is one truly scorching extended scene of heavy duty bdsm play that set my eyes on fire from its intensity. Cormac is strong willed and thoroughly enjoyed his role as master. Sean's not used to asking for what he wants and is the more quiet of the two, but this interlude had him speaking his mind and being richly rewarded for it. This interlude took their relationship to a new and stronger level and cemented the rightness of their being together.

Fans of bdsm will be supremely satisfied in this short story that's long on intensity. For readers like me who read this genre only occasionally, a drink of water will be needed afterwards to recover from how steamy these two are together. Seeing these two together again was extremely satisfying and reenforced the idea of a HEA. I'm definitely on board for anytime these authors want to bring back the ever so sexy Cormac and sweetly sensual Sean for any escapades in or out of the bedroom.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good short story sequel to The Druid Stone October 9, 2012

A very good sexy short story sequel to The Druid Stone. Set one year later, Cormac and Sean are a little more settled into their routine, almost too settled, and Cormac uses their first anniversary for a getaway to Galway to stay at the same hotel they had been at a year before. This time, they're testing both a fantasy and themselves as they see how far they can push each other and trust each other.

Even though Cormac was teasing Sean, and pushing through Sean's offered fantasy, I think it was the most fun to watch Cormac's slow undoing, as he tried to keep himself together as he watched Sean struggle against limits and offer himself so trustingly. Even in this short story, their back-and-forth dynamic is still really riveting, as well as seeing how they affect each other. (That dynamic was definitely one of my fave parts of the novel, so was fun to revisit it even for just a short story.)

You probably could enjoy this story on its own, but just on its own, it could be seen as a (very well-written) story of two guys getting it on in Galway. I personally would recommend reading The Druid Stone first. I'm partially biased because I really dug the novel, but I think what character nuances and background hints there are here you'll find more meaningful if you read the book first.
