I've never reviewed a product on Amazon before, but this little guy is so cool I couldn't resist. "Buddah-Butta", once we got this guy on our table we couldn't stop saying it. Even my three year old twins...

We keep him right next to our "Naughty bunny" salt and pepper shakers. (We got those from shopplasticland.com) Also too funny!

I was worried the dish would be small or cramped for butter, but it holds a stick with lots of room to spare. The only concern about this guy would be break-ability. We've had no trouble but I'd be careful when washing. Anyhoo, way cool and something you and your dinner guests will surely talk about around the table.

In the midst of holiday shopping, I saw this item and ordered it for m'self (aka from husband). It was a great surprise to open on Christmas. It's wonderfully bigger than I'd originally guessed, so when there's no butter in Buddha's belly, he sits in the dining room as a small sculpture.

The box had not been abused but the butter dish was so inadequately packed it arrived broken. The outer box was sized correctly, but it had only 1 balloon packing buffer on each side (nothing protecting top and bottom), and the inner (product) box fit loosely in the outer box, so it could bang around. One corner was chipped off and separated. Since I was an out of state guest presenting this as a gift sent ahead of my arrival, it was awkward to try to return it. So I'm bitter.
