I bought this fan because excess heat can be a health problem for myself and my dogs. There have been so many storms with power loss this summer and afterwards even if we don't lose power, the electric company shuts off our power to repair the other lines. Now I don't have to worry about the loss of air conditioning and I don't even have to search for the radio. Amazon was the place to search for a fan this large without having to go from store to store. And we received it almost immediately! Thanks!

I live in a country where the local power goes out frequently for severl minutes (to a few hours) for load sharing in the summer months... this fan has made that seem to all go away. Especially if the power goes out in the night. The stock battery is good for 2 hours off of a full charge and if you spring to an additional battery thats 4hrs right there. I love this fan.

We have power failure almost three times a week for 3 or 4 hours each day, and this little rechargeable fan does his work. I hate heat and can't leave with out my air conditioner or my normal fan on, so I bought this one and the good think about it, is that you can buy another battery 6 volt 4.5 amp so the fan will work for more hours when the power fails. The radio sounds perfect. I love my rechargeable fun.
