I've been using Gamakatsu brand hooks for about 3 years now. Well worth the additional price. While fishing for Carp, I managed to pull in a nice 20 lb. beast of a fish. The hook NEVER let up!I'll be keeping Gamakatsu in my tackle arsenal for many years to come.

We use these hooks while fishing for salmon. We have never had one break or bend, despite the weight of the fish or the fight they put out.

These hooks are strong and sharp and rust resistant. The most important part about them is they stay sharp during use. They are good hooks.
