5.0 out of 5 stars Great Product
These lights are really nice.

They come partially assembled. A top solar/battery/light assembly, a base with the clear plastic, a pole, and a spike.

You flip the on switch in the top assembly and attach it to the base. Then insert the pole into the base, find the location where you want to put the light and pound the spike into the ground, and...

2.0 out of 5 stars Description of this item is wrong
This item description is completely wrong. I ordered and received it in a short period, I opened the box and found that there is accually 4 lights per box. The description says it has 3 super bright LED's, and it accually only has one. The description also says it is color changing and it is not.

Here in Virginia, in the Spring at least, a days charge really does light up the light all night long.

Now, if I could get my mowing company to stop mowing over them I'd be good.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great lights but lousy batteries and 10% failure rate, December 30, 2011

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Gamasonic GS-335 Black Fluted Multi-Purpose Solar Accent Light with White LED, 3-Pack (Tools & Home Improvement)
This our excellent lights but they are shipped with cheap 600 mAh batteries which seldom make it through the night and which give weak lighting even after dusk.

I have now purchased more than 80 of these lights and have experienced a 10% failure right right out of the box (but with fully charged Amazon batteries installed). The main failure mode is the inadequate mounting of the LED (6 failures) and faulty auto-off switches (2 failures).

Buy these and replace the cheap batteries with AmazonBasics AA NiMH Precharged Rechargeable Batteries (8-Pack, 2000 mAh) and you will get brighter lights that last all night. Note these Amazon batteries provide more than 3X as much power as the cheap ones which come with these lights
