2.0 out of 5 stars Non Fiction, September 2, 2007
This review is from: Gambling Times Guide to Football Handicapping (Paperback)
This is a collection of Bob McCune's theories and work from back in the day on how to approach football. It is not that interesting apart from the vaguely humorous style, at times.

If you want something recent and relevant, looks elsewhere, if you want to read about the history and what this subject used to be like, this is ok.

2.0 out of 5 stars Easy on the praise!, April 21, 2004
This review is from: Gambling Times Guide to Football Handicapping (Paperback)
I bought this books years ago, read half of it and put it away. During a spell of Football (betting) Fever I picked it up again and I can easily see why I didn't read it the first time.

I found the book to be more fun to read the second time I picked it up but I still find it a bit thin on hints and advice.

Ergo: A nice read well worth a few bucks but don't expect too much.
