i don't know what the person who wrote the 1 star reveiw thought was so bad, but this is very useful. Yes, batteries last for 15 hours, but this lasts forever(kind of). It is great if you will use it at home. when batteries cost 6-8 dollars, it's good to spend 20, and not need to spend any more. I use the Game Boy Advance at home for 90% of the time i use it, and i think most people will use it at home for many hours, making this worth the money for anyone who uses GBA at home for more then 40 hours in their life, which would cost 20 dollars in batteries. I recommend this for anyone who owns the GameBoy Advance.

This is the most important, money-saving device you can get if you don't want to run to the store for batteries every few days. The way it works is it comes in two pieces. One piece goes in the battery compartment and replaces the battery cover, as well as the batteries. The second piece, the adapter, has a piece at one end that plugs into the first piece, and the usual box that plugs into an outlet at the other end. The unit has a sleek design that stands out, so you don't accidentally unplug the TV or something. The prongs on the plug that go into the wall fold in so you don't jab yourself in the hand when you grab it. This is a necessity for die-hard gamers or people who hate to change batteries all the time.

This is a great item to buy if you will be spending alot of time playing your GBA. If you don't plan to play your GBA that much don't get this. After all the GBA will last for 15 hours with 1 set of batteries. It works great and the cable is pleanty long.

Spend your money buying a rechargable battery pack/AC adapter from MadCatz,you can charge it up for play on the go or just plug in the adapter for non-moblie play. This product here is just a AC adapter which means you have to be near a wall outlet and light. Using this defeats the purpose of the GBA being portable. Buy the portable rechargable battery pack.

This is the perfect accessory for my GameBoy. I have used only 2 batteries since getting this.(That's been since this summer.)
My only wish is that the cord was a touch longer. But it is perfect in every other way. Thanks to GameBoy!!

HiIhave just bought the game boy advanced system and i think it is awesome i only have one game but i play it non-stop wherever i go and i always have to get batteries when they run out and that always makes me mad because say i got really far and the game boy advanced turns off because the batteries run out. Look if you have a game boy advanced and you play it alot you will want this item and you wont have to spend 5-8 dollars on batteries all the time just pay 20 dollars and you will be free to go and it is so simple to use all you do is just put the first piece in to the batterie compartment and then the second piece you connect to the first and then just plug it in and walaa your done and your batterie problems are over and you can play as long as you want and thanks for reading my review and this is a must have!!!!!!!!!

The GameBoy Advance AC Adapter Set is a great way to save money on batteries. Basically, this set contains two items: 1) an adapter that you put on the back of your GameBoy Advance, in the slot where the batteries go, and 2) a power cord that connects to the adapter. This is a good buy for people who usually play their GameBoy Advance at home. It will keep you from having to go to the store to buy batteries. I would highly recommend it.

This is a great adapter. Its really small and unnoticable. the only disadvantage is that it doesn't double as a battery pak. if you plan on using your GBA a lot away rom electrical outlrts, bring batteries. Great for @home use.

This is pretty bad. You should get Pelican's rechargable batt-paks or just stik with plain old batterieas..me personally, i'm getting the rechargeble batt-paks because they're portable, this thing is just a whole mess. with the whole wire thing. and with the battt-paks, you get two rechargables. it isa waste of [price]

If you are going to put as much time playing this system as I already have, the adaptor is a MUST!! Generous length of cord, pretty cool how it all hooks up. Compact and small for travelling. Very nice!
