Simply put, the Game Boy Advance is the most powerful and has the most diverse library of games of any handheld system on the market. It's the cream of the crop. Oh, you might hear a few people complaining of a dark screen, but it's strengths far outweigh any of it's percieved weaknesses (besides you can always get an external light if you need to).

It's small (just slightly bigger than a Game Boy Color), is compatible with every Game Boy game made thus far (that's over 500 games!), and has in impressive line up of games all it's own. A few upcoming games like Sonic Advance and Kirby will feature the unique feature of hooking up to Nintendo's new home console, the GameCube. You'll be able to trade data or characters and, as is the case with Kirby, be able to flip play from the GBA screen to your TV and back again!

The horizontal configuration takes some getting used to after all those years of playing vertically, but it's a welcome change as we now have a larger screen. You'll also enjoy the two additional shoulder butttons for added depth in gameplay.

If you like videogames on the go, you can't be without the best one around, the GBA. Especially get the Fuchsia becasue it's milky, see through casing is cool and distinctive (plus that green power light looks so neat against the pink).

The Game Boy Advance (GBA) is the most powerful handheld gaming device on the market right now. Not only will it play the newest, most advanced games available, but it's compatible with all the other kinds of Game Boy games as well! You can even play original GB games in limited color and in a convienient streached mode that streaches the image to fill the large GBA screen. With games like Mario Cart Super Circuit, Castlevania, Harry Potter, and Tetris Worlds, GBA spans all ages and prefrences of gamers. Luckilly batteries last about 10 hours in this machine so you'll have lots of playing time. When the batteries start to fade the power light turns from green to red, then slowly fades giving you plenty of warning so you don't loose any progress you've made. There is even an adapter port that lets you attach an external light for playing in dimly lit areas (though it's best to play GBA under a lamp or in the sunshine). It seems Nintendo has thought of everything!

The only drawbacks are that the control pad can be a bit too small for larger hands and the left and right shoulder buttons take some getting used to. My hands cramped up a bit when I first strted playing, but after getting comfortable with the GBA these problems faded away.

Fuchsia GBA is the best color in my estimation becasue it's a harder color to find available. Also it's so cute and yummy looking that you just want to lick it and see if tastes like candy! I don't recomend doing that though! No matter what color you decide on though, you're sure to be enjoying it for years to come!

The new GBA is fantastic except for one glaring fault -- the LCD screen is not backlit. This makes it difficult to see what's going on. Even if you get a light to attach to it, it's still not the perfect solution because it reflects off the screen -- so you have one too-bright circle on your screen and the rest is still in the dark. So far it seems like playing in full sunlight gives the best light, but even then you still get some glare off the screen. It's a really annoying problem that could have easily been taken care of if Nintendo had just backlit the screen. There are some backlit kits you can buy yourself, such as Afterburner, but for most people, opening up the GBA and trying to solder stuff together is not an option. It also voids your warranty. If you want a backlit screen, you can find places online that sell GBAs with backlit kits already installed.

The GameBoy Advance Fuchsia is Great! I just got mine last week and I love it! At first I wasn't so sure about buying on because I heard about the lighting,but I decided to buy one. The lighting is too bad. If you can read in where you are you probably can play your gameboy advance. They have special lights that are for your gameboy advance so you can play in the dark. Plus there great for when you are in the car on the plane or just walking right behind your mom or dad while they decided what they want to buy! It works for me! I like the Game Mario Kart and I want to buy spykids.

I got a GBA bundle pack 4 my 12th b-day and I love it! It included Mario Advanced (which is great!), the fushia console,and Nintendo Advanced Magazine! Well,it also came with batteries so I played right out of the box! I absolutly LOvE My pink Gba! Since Pink is my fave color this is definatly FiVe StArZ!

Really and truely I happen to have more games for this thing than I do for the PS2. I only bought my GBA a short time ago and already I have bought more games for it than I own for my PS2, a testiment to the quality of the GBA. It doesn't want heaps of batterys, has great games, probably will be around for eternity like it's predecessor (the original game boy), and it looks cool. What more can you ask for? Well it has good graphics and resolution. I didn't think I would think much about it when I got one butfrankly when I turned it on I though,"Hey this thing really looks great, it has great resolution for such a small screen." It only has one major problem. It's TOO DARK!!!!! The screen is super dark! In fact for Castlevania I HAD to use a direct overhead light ALL the TIME! Ok, remember that for future reference. Well other than that minor problem, it's great!

My 7 year old daughter and 11 year old son both love their gameboys. I did not realize how durable a toy the gameboy is until I found a gameboy advance game in my dryer when doing laundry. My son had left the game in his pocket. The game made it through the washer and dryer and still works. WOW!!!

I am somewhat disabled and originally had a Sega Game Gear to
pass time. Last Christmas my daughter gave me a Game Boy Color
unit and I now have several games including games like Hoyle
Card Games, Uno, Millionaire,PaperBoy, Frogger 2, Battleship,
Donkey Kong Country, Pong, Caesar's Palace II, Asteroids, Roswell, and Bust-A-Move 2. I just turned 50 y/o but enjoy playing these games.

This Christmas, my husband gave me the fushia Game Boy Advance.
When they first came out, I was surprised by the lack of atractive colors, but was willing to opt for the very pale blue
translucent (clear) one UNTIL I heard about the fushia one, which
is the best of all the presently available colors. I also received a combination light/screen protector in a fushia color
that matches the GBA fushia perfectly. Yesterday I bought a charging system by Pelican Accessories called "Charge and Go"
which includes not one but TWO rechargable battery packs and
a charger where you can place your GBA unit with battery pack in
place sitting in the front (like a cellphone desk charger AND a
rear charger where you place the extra battery pack so there is
always one or two charged packs. My husband was surprised how
well this accessory matched the color of my GBA unit!

Usually when a new system comes out the old games are rendered
unuseable, but with GBA I can play all my present games while I
expand on my GBA game pacs. I have two of them now and will add
more in the future. New titles are coming out every day. I saw
a Super Bust-A-Move GBA pack that I'll definitely purchase soon!

The larger screen is great, and with the light pack, the screen
was easier to see than the old Game Boy Color. The sound is much
better and extremely easy to hear. The screen colors are great and display is clearer. Out of these four original colors the
fushia is best (I have had no trouble with coordinating color
with accessories of the same color) although I'm sure many of the guys would not agree!

So if you are an adult who likes to chill out with some of these
games, GBA is for you, no matter what your age. These are NOT
for the kids only!!!

This handheld system is the latest in handheld technology. It is 32-bit, with a 50% wider screen, stereo sound, 15 more hours of battery life, TWO Left and Right 'shoulder' buttons, four player linked games, NINTENDO GAMECUBE hookup, and more. And this system features an extensive list of game that you can play. You can play games from the original Game Boy, Game Boy Color games and is the only system compatable with Game Boy Advance Games, hence the name.

The Games that are out, and shall be coming out for this system are amazing. Take Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 for instence: this game is th first 3-D handheld game, and its from the top selling Tony Hawk series. You skate around the 3-dimensional skate parks trying to improve your rider, complete goal, unlock new skate parks and skaters, and also, if your good enough, unlocking cheats!

Another game is Mario Kart: Super Curcuit. You can reace at over 20 brand new tracks in three differant engine speeds. If you race well, you unlock 20 more tracks, all of which are form the hit game, Super Mario Kart for the Super NES system of yesteryear. You can be all of the racer from the Mario Kart 64 game. Racers include: Mario, Luigi, Toad, Peach, Yoshi, Wario, Donkey-Kong, and Bowser.

And more games are coming out all the time for this system. Some games that are coming out are: Mech Platoon: a Game Boy Advance version of Mech Commander; it's a Real-Time Stratagy game. And the new Army Men Game, which, like the early computer versions of Army Men (if you remember those) is an isometric/3-D style of a game with Army Men.

We own 2 of these and my kids (ages 5-14) absolutely love them!
My 5 year old surprised me and is able to catch on to any game
she picks up. It is very user friendly and enjoying.
