4.0 out of 5 stars Does the job, but wireless is the future
If you want to enjoy the multiplayer aspect available in many GBA games the GBA link cable is definately what you need. (and who would want to miss out on the great multiplayer of games such as advance wars, zelda: four swords and Final Fantasy Tactics Advance?)

For right now this is the only way to go, that is until the wireless connecter comes out alongside...

If you want to enjoy the multiplayer aspect available in many GBA games the GBA link cable is definately what you need. (and who would want to miss out on the great multiplayer of games such as advance wars, zelda: four swords and Final Fantasy Tactics Advance?)

For right now this is the only way to go, that is until the wireless connecter comes out alongside with the release of the new Pokemon games. (the link cable is often to short)

Be forewarned that 1 cable will connect only 2 GBA systems (you will need an additional cable for each additional system) Also most games require each person to have a copy of the game to play multiplayer.

Another important point to make is that this is NOT going to connect your Gameboy Advance/SP to a Gamecube. You need a different cable if that is your objective.

With that in mind enjoy the multiplayer aspect of the GBA, it's definately alot of fun.

You will probably recieve a 3rd party cable if you are looking at the picture and thinking that you're getting the nintendo-made cable. Mine wasn't even the right one when I recieved it.

This cable does not fit the gameboy advance. We tried several times to contact the seller with no response. We went and bought another cable for our gameboy advances at the store. This cable listed does not have the right portals for gameboy advance.

I don't know why people have so much trouble with this. With all my Pokemon games all I have to do is plug one end in each Gameboy, turn them on, and make sure the character on each game goes into the trading area of the Pokemon Center. It's not rocket science. I had the link cable for the Game Boy Color too and again, no problems.

These cables are great if you have multi-player GameBoy advance games and would like to play with someone. Just check that the seller is giving you the one in the picture. Without digging too deeply I got off brand ones which I'm fine with but some people may not be.

1.0 out of 5 stars Link cable doesn't work, not even Nintendo Liscensed, March 7, 2011

I bought this in hopes of getting a Nintendo licensed link cable so that I could trade Pokemon in my games and do all that dorky stuff. However when I received my cable it was just a plain white cable in a white box, so I figured it might work anyway, when I plugged both ends in, only one end actually connected and the other end didn't do anything.

Crappy cable, crappy product, don't buy it, because chances are, you aren't getting what you expected.
