I bought these headphones for my little brother, who is 9, for Christmas. I noticed that within 15 minutes of him using them that one of the speakers was falling off. A day later the other one was falling off too. I've secured them with tape so that they don't totally fall off. He also mentions that they are uncomfortable, which I can also attest to. They can get uncomfortable after using them for a while. I am very disappointed of my purchase and I wish that Nintendo didn't make the headphones proprietary (although there's nothing I can do about that). It was a big waste of $15.

These are great for the kids, especially on the airplane when the airplane motor is too loud for them to hear their game. This way they're happy and so is everyone around because they don't have to listen to the game being played. The only suggestion, they should be made a bit smaller to fit a child's head, otherwise great item

We used three sets of headphones on the gameboys on a recent trip to Florida, Disney World. They made the trip easier for the adults, who were driving, and the kids, who were playing. I recomend them for anyone taking a long trip, or just a group of kids playing game boys in the same room. One must remember if you can hear what the kids are playing, they have the volume too loud and could hurt their ears.

These are really nice. the sound is excellent the only thing is you can only use it with your Gameboy Advance. To bad it doesn't come with an adapter so you can you it with your portal DVD player.

This item is alright, its a clip-on design, it clips onto your ears, I have actually had a severe problem using this item, because every time I put them on, they pinch my ears, quite painfully, and leave my ears sore after just ten to twenty minutes of game-play,

These are also quite fragile, this would not be good for a kid, they are a fall-apart cheap product. (I had to glue mine after they came apart during use, and I am a teen, who takes really good care of my stuff, they just fell apart one day, wile I was playing my game...)


I would suggest just buying the Sp adapter, so you can use regular head-phones... That would also give you the option to use some really good quality head-phones, which would be a lot better than these, in my opinion. Also, the volume on these should be louder, With most games, with the volume cranked up to max, you can still hear the slightest little sound in your room, heck, you can carry on a conversation with these things turned all the way up!

I would say, avoid these, unless you are a Nintendo purest, and don't want to use an off-brand product with your system.

I had one problem with these and Im going to get it out of the way first. The black lining on the earphones just kinda fell to pieces. I think it was because of the age of the product itself. I pulled it off and no big deal. On the plus side, the phones are comfortable and have great sound clarity. Its limited to a few earphones you can find for the SP, but these work great and a good price too.
