This is the best ladder stand I've ever used. For the gun hunter, it has plenty of room and is extremely comfortable for an all day hunt. The padded seat and backrest are plenty large for larger guys, like me. The platform is very large, leaving plenty of room to place your day pack under your seat, out of the way. There is also a fold out step allowing you to change your leg and feet position for more comfort, so you can sit still longer. For the bow hunter, the seat will fold up, out of the way, allowing you to stand. The shooting rail also folds back out of the way of bow hunters, leaving plenty of room to maneuver to take that critical shot in any direction. The only negative, it takes at least 2 to 4 adults to haul it into the woods and install it. It's heavy! But, then again, it's very stable!

This stand will spoil ya, January 10, 2007

This is THE stand if your looking for comfort and room. Not only is the seat larger than a typical tree stand, the platform is also much larger making it easier to get in and out. The stand is also very stable for those who are pushing the weight limit.

Well Built, Spacious and solid, just not so very portable, November 24, 2011
This review is from: Big Game CR4300 16' Luxury Box Tree Stand (Sports)
This is absolutely huge, and unless you are able to drive right up to your stand, it simply is not at all portable, nor practical. The only way this can be considered portable, is if you are able to pack it in...with multiple trips into the woods, and then put it all together once in the woods...also have help...then do not intend to move it...once it is up.
This stand is extremely ungainly, so bring your front end loader...and/or lots of help...to install it.
If you hunt any of the national forests...with the extreme hodgepodge of purposely very confusing rules concerning ATV and four wheel drive vehicle usage (they make usage impossibly complex...so they can also make money off of the fines)...this is almost an impossibility to really use effectively at all.
It simply is far too big to be practical...unless you are on vehicle accessible private land...and do not intend to ever move it.
Even partially put together, it is not possible to place it on the bed of any UTV, and traverse any semibrushy or narrow forest trails.
This is a very big and substantial unit, and it really is pretty much overkill...not my idea of portable at all.
