This is a great game for the whole family. You don't need paper and pencil and playing in teams is great.

I bought this game for my homeschooled 10 year old son for Christmas. He loves playing this game with his friends and with my husband and I. We were unable to find this game in any store so we were very happy when we found it online. Now that he has introduced his friends to it, they all want it as well as some friends of mine who are public school teachers. They have purchased a couple of these to use in their classrooms! Great game.

It didn't seem that challenging -- look at the pictures on a card and then answer questions. However, just when you think you have studied the card deeply for 20 seconds, it all turns to air. The color of a dress, what was someone holding in their hand, how many flowers in a vase -- ????
Get ready to feel like the breeze is blowing through your head.

This is a fun game for the entire family! Sometimes the young are more observant than adults....lots of laughter
as everyone tries to remember what they saw on the cards and what was totally missed :)

I bought this game because in acting class our teacher said that a good actor/actress is aware and observant of their surroundings and is able to recall their surroundings which helps place them in the feeling they wish to express (known as 'sense memory' and originally taught by Meizner). So I thought getting a game that forces you to observe and recall what you just saw would be good. And it is. Also, might as well keep your brain active. "A mind is a terrible thing to waste."

Five stars for fun! This was a Christmas gift that was thoroughly enjoyed by our whole family (two adults, three kids ages 7, 9 and 15). It is certainly not your run-of-the-mill game, which hits you the minute you open the game box for the first time and see the set of image cards. It is so different from other games we have played. Stare at images, ask questions...a completely social and interactive playing environment. The cards are great, and you never know what type you are going to get until you pull your card from the box. Some tell visual stories, some feature wonderful images from yesteryear, and some are just plain interesting to look at. Very amusing and fascinating. We often take quick breaks to stare at the images even after the cards have been played, just to smile a bit longer and catch up on the details we may have missed the first time around. Playing in teams makes the game especially lively since you can debate answers with partners. Just great.

I purchased this game after a friend gave it rave reviews and I saw it also got great ratings on Amazon. I was looking for a fun family game to play with a 13, 10 and 9 year old. I probably should have purchased STARE junior - maybe we would have had better luck. As the adult, I had the hardest time of all answering the questions. Sign of old age? Maybe. In fairness, my 10 year old daughter enjoyed it for the little bit of time we played but my 9 year old son lost interest and 13 year old said just ok. Each of the cards has so much going on, and the questions are very difficult - even the "easy" ones. I have no desire to ever play this game again - I love puzzles, I love challenges, but this was not fun.

I ordered this as a gift for my niece, but the whole family became engrossed. Warning: It COULD become habit forming!!
