5.0 out of 5 stars Quality East Coast Thrash album, May 25, 2010
This review is from: Game Over (Audio CD)
I'm a fan of a lot of East Coast thrash. Of the big names of this genre personal favorites have been the first two Anthrax albums, Handle With Care, and Overkill's Taking Over. This one is up there with those albums.

I was expecting another Survive upon buying this one, and while this one does have the speed and aggression of that album, it also has traces of the speed metal found on Fistful of Metal. This makes it the logical step in between from Lilker's Anthrax days to Survive.

While a bit rawer than what was to come, I find this album to be equal to Handle With Care and would surely be a worthy addition to any thrash fans collection. The Plague EP is included which is much the same style, and some tracks from Live at the Hammersmith Odeon are also included.

4.0 out of 5 stars The Missing, March 17, 2009

Todd McCain "THM" (Jacksonville, NC USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Game Over (Audio CD)
I love this album. I have it on vinyl and cassette. I was disappointed, however, that the Lesbians track was removed. What happen between the Combat release and the Century Media release? Is the song not considered PC? Who knows, but it's still a great thrash/crossover release, and maybe in the future the FULL length album will find it's way to CD.
