Product Description

WHERE VIDEO GAME MEETS TOTAL BODY WORKOUT!!! Our newest bike designs are a breath of fresh air to the fitness and sporting goods industry. This exercise bike is featured as an interactive bike that pairs the fun of an arcade and the results from a gym all in the comfort of your home. Our patented gaming system allows you to control the speed and movement of your racing vehicle as you compete on the race track. The resistance system on the Game Rider gives you a realistic race-driving feel, unlike standard video or computer games. Exercise becomes FUN as you burn rubber and calories on the virtual track! Great for anyone—young and old—who needs exercise, or wants to get in shape without the boring repetition! Can also be used as a standard exercise bike with programmable functions.

Pair the thrill of racing video games with the satisfaction of a great workout with the Game Rider EZ gaming bike.

The bike's swiveling handlebars let you steer your racing vehicle through traffic.
The interactive exercise bike comes with four preloaded video games: Highway Racing, which lets you choose from a range of sleek racing cars as you zoom through international cities; Motor Storm, a thrilling and calorie-burning motorcycle trek; Extreme F1, which delivers a bird's-eye view of beach scenes as you compete; and Overspeed Racing, a scenic country drive that lets you pedal your way to fun and good health. As you play the games, you can steer in and out of trouble using the bike's patented swiveling handlebars, or zip confidently through traffic by pedaling faster or slower. Throughout each race, the bike's integrated resistance system delivers a realistic race-driving feel, making it fun to burn rubber on the track and calories in the real world.

The Game Rider EZ includes a large, easy-to-read LCD display that helps you track your workout progress, with categories for time, distance, speed, calories, and more. The bike's wireless connectivity, meanwhile, displays the game graphics on your TV without using messy cords. And even though the Game Rider EZ is game-specific, you can use the bike as a standard exercise bike as well. Other features include a solid-steel construction that withstands years of use; a sleek, space-saving design; 16 resistance levels; and 12 traditional exercise programs. The Game Rider EZ bike measures 21.63 by 49.25 by 43.25 inches (W x H x D) and supports up to 250 pounds.

This could have been a great product but:

The games are awful. Would have been awful 20 years ago (did they ever make 4-bit games?, lol). Clearly this is made by an exercise company that knows nothng about computers and games and found someone, probably in Lithuania or something like that, to make some games on the cheap (or the owner's son said he could do it). I literally could have programmed something better for them in a couple of months. The game box is a little piece of krap with only an RCA output which is OK since the games have such poor graphics that it doesn't really matter. I have resisted the urge to open it up but I am sure it has a 30-year old legacy 8-bit CPU (probably Z80 or 6800).

Also, the pedal resistance is magnetic and very "jerky". My $200 exercise bike from 10 years ago is a much better ride.

I am extremely disappointed with this product. For $400 they could have had a flywheel design instead of a cheapo magnetic one. And if hey had something close to a clue they could have done something better with the games. It only needs to be basic like trails through the forest or something like that with marginable graphics, but they didn't even come close to that.
