More About the Author

Jeremy Zimmerman was a contributing writer for the Steam Warriors sourcebook for Goodman Games' Dragonmech as well as the short-lived A Game of Thrones Roleplaying Game from Guardians of Order.

He has published three short stories with Crossed Genres magazine, combining science fiction with fantasy, otherworldly monsters with romance, and portals to hell with bureaucracy. He is also a contributing author in the Cobalt City Christmas anthology and will have a story appear in the upcoming Crossed Genres anthology. Jeremy constantly strives to use his fiction to look at the world in off-kilter ways while hoping that he'll eventually get all the ideas for stories out of his head. He has so far been unsuccessful in the latter.

Currently in the works are more short stories, another roleplaying game, and a novel. In his secret identity as a county bureaucrat, he hopes to someday be good enough for government work. Jeremy lives in Seattle with his beautiful girlfriend Dawn and a herd of cats.

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome collector's item. Not really for actually playing it..., August 17, 2009
This review is from: Game of Thrones: D20-Based Open Gaming RPG (Deluxe Limited Edition) (Hardcover)
I have this edition. On its own, it's a beautiful game in a beautiful book. True, it's not supported and the company has gone out of business, and the only way to get one is to write to GRRM and beg and hope he has any left for sale (I think he found some recently) but you don't buy this game to play it, you buy it for the collectible factor and the artwork. It's a thing of beauty.

The reason for the price here, (and I'm pretty sure the 2-star poster here didn't know this) is that this is the leather-bound, silver edged, deluxe uber special edition of doom (Mine's signed by GRRM himself! Woot!) The standard version is not nearly this expensive.

If you want a rare collector's item game product, this is an excellent choice. If you want one to play, go for the new Green Ronin game. It just won 2 ENnies.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful book., February 15, 2009
This review is from: Game of Thrones: D20-Based Open Gaming RPG (Deluxe Limited Edition) (Hardcover)
This book is a thing of rare beauty for gamers and/or fans of Mr. Martin's world of Westeros. It includes gorgeous paintings of famous scenes from the first book in his "A Song of Ice and Fire" series, "A Game of Thrones". Even if one is not a gamer or is not into RPG's, this book serves as detailed reference material for the subject matter.

Highly recommended.
