I just received this remote and was able to program it for my DVD, VCR and TV, but not my satellite (DirecTv)which is the main thing I purchased it for. Although it says it has a lifetime warranty, all of the contact information is invalid. The email address, telephone number and website listed in the programming guide are all out of service. I googled the parent company, North American Licensing Company, LLC (made in China) and that website is also defunct. I'm a little irritated right now and am thinking I am going to have to return this item.
