This is great product,

If you are going on a trip or your TV is in the shop I highly recommend getting the Intec GC screen. It slides onto the GC very smoothly and can be hooked up in a matter of two minutes or less. It has a picture like a high quality laptop. You don't have to look at it in the right light like some small screens, you can see it from nearly every angle. It comes with a car adaptor plug and a cord to plug it into a light socket. It has sound and brightness level settings and also has 2 headphone ports. I have played about five or six games on the screen. Monkey Ball look outstanding on the screen, Pikmin is the hardest to play, due to the small pikmin. You really have to look at the screen closely or you may walk right by some of your pikmin. Besides Pikmin all the other games look pretty good on the screen. The sound is much better than I expected. $ is well worth this screen, get it now.

5" LCD Monitor for Gamecube,
By Paul (FL, USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: GameCube Monitor (Indigo) (Video Game)
The Intec 5" lcd monitor utilizes a 5" TFT display giving very sharp, vivid pictures. Two built in stereo Speakers provide good sound and high volumn levels. In comaprision to Interact's Mobile Monitor 5.4 the Intec unit does not require a seperate A/C adaptor by sharing the Gamecube's power supply. It is also lighter and less thick keeping the already top heavy Gamecube more stable. The unit supports two headphone jacks where Interacts unit supports only one. Most importantly, in side by side screen tests, the Intec unit wins hands down in picture quality. Although slightly smaller (5" vs 5.4"), the Intec's TFT display mimics those used on high end laptops where the Interact display is closer to a low contrast passive matrix or dual scan type giving washed out colors, poor resolution and color smearing. Viewing angles are also much greater. The apperant larger speakers produce loud clear sound over the Interact display.

Best Game Screen For All Your Systems,
By "nightrida" (CLASSIFIED) - See all my reviews
This review is from: GameCube Monitor (Indigo) (Video Game)
This Intec Game Screen is just awesome. It has the best picture quality you can get in a game screen, it puts the Interact Mobile Monitor to shame. The screen snaps on and off your GameCube easily, it comes with a cigarrete-lighter adaptor for when you play it in your car, and it has not one, but two headphone jacks in case you are playing with a buddy. Another great thing about Intec's Game Screen is that you can adjust the brightness and color levels as well as the volume. Games are very easy to see and it looks great mounted on your GameCube. You can use the GameCube AC adapter to plug it in an electrical socket, it connects to the Game Screen and powers both the GameCube and the Screen. Another great thing is that it comes with an AV expansion cable that allows you to hook up the screen to any device with Audio/Video cable outputs such as a DVD player, VCR, Camcorder, Security Camera, and all of your other game systems such as X-Box, PS2, Dreamcast, N64, etc. This device is great if you often find yourself wanting to play your system but the TV is being used, you can even play in the dark, or in your car.

Intec vs. InterAct,
By Pat (West Chester, PA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: GameCube Monitor (Indigo) (Video Game)
I am building an in-dash dvd/gps system for my Jeep and needed a small LCD that would not only have a good resolution, but also a wide viewing angle. I purchased both the Intec 5" and the InterAct 5.5" screens for the gamecube. The InterAct screen produced a washed-out picture with a minimal viewing angle. In addition when I received the InterAct, the hinge was broken. The monitor is made very poorly and the structure of the frame is very fragile. The Intec, on the other hand, produced a picture 100 times better than the InterAct and even better than my home TV. The viewing angle is very good for a TFT screen - the picture starts to dither around 45 degrees from the center. Finally, the frame is sturdy - I would not be afraid to throw it into a backpack for on the road gaming.

Great Gamescreen,
By An 11-year old gamer (the USA) - See all my reviews

I recentley purchased this item for my gamecube. It worked perfectly. It includes a car adapter for those long road trips too. But while your not in the car you can use your regular cord included with the gamecube to just plug in the wall and play on your gamescreen then. One of the other cool things you can do is hook up VCR to it and play movies on the screen. One setback on it is that it does not say you can play DVD's on it. But still it is a great gamescreen.

Wonderful!,

When I bought this screen I was expecting a very good product, but when I turned it on, I was blown away! I got it for the car during my vacation, but I find that I just like playing it anytime at home! So far I have played Pikmin, Luigi's Mansion, Super Monkey Ball, Tetris, Waverace, and Sonic on it, and I have had no trouble at all while playing. The picture is super clear, and the colors are great. It may not be the same as when I play it on my big screen TV, but I find that I prefer playing games like Monkey Ball and Tetris on this mini screen. Some people say it's too small, but I definitly don't think it is, and I am used to a 52" screen TV! It's not a problem to follow even with a two-player split screen! Even though, while playing a game, you don't really even notice what size the screen is.This monitor also makes it easy to transfer it from your TV to the screen. All I have to do is unplug the red/white/yellow plug from the gamecube, take it off the TV, attach the screen and couple cords, and I'm ready to go. I have never played off of the other brand monitors, but I am so pleased with this one, I would reccomend it to anyone. It was worth the price and more!

Number one: Get the color monitor corresponding to your Game Cube. This mobile monitor is the one to get. I am not sure about the InterAct one, but the Intec is good. You can play this thing in the car (comes with an adapter that plugs into the built-in lighter), or at home (use the AC plug that came with your GCN). You can control both the brightness and the sound level. It comes with two headphone jacks so that the gamer can listen to the sound without disturbing those around him/her. While I'm on the topic of sound, it is really good quality. The display is great, considering this is only a 5-inch monitor. It is an LCD screen and is worth the buy. Another cool option is that you can use the monitor to play home movies from your video camera. Parents, especially minivan drivers: Get this for your kid if you don't have a TV in your car. It will stop the "Are We There Yet? Are We There Yet?" One last tip: When you do use the monitor in the car, HIDE IT HIDE IT HIDE IT when you get out for a rest stop or something. Not only will someone steal both the GCN and the Monitor, you'll have to deal with a car with a broken window. Bottom line: GET IT!!!!

Buyer Beware,
By
This review is from: GameCube Monitor (Indigo) (Video Game)
Intec makes two Gamecube screens -- one 5 inch, and one 5.6 inch. The .6 of an inch is hardly the only difference -- the 5.6 inch screen (not sold on Amazon anymore) has a much crisper screen, is less bulky, has better controls, and two headphone jacks. The 5 inch is a smeary mess -- lousy picture, bulky, cheaply made housing with contrasting color "feet," and crummy controls. Beware -- because you'll pay the same price for both of them, and the company even uses the same manufacturer's part number and UPC code number, so retailers may not even know it's a different product when they stock it and sell it to you. If you can't get the 5.6 version, then get a different add-on screen from another manufacturer. Don't support a company that tries to pull a fast one on kids and their parents.

What he said...,
By Jared Pettitt (Tucson, AZ USA) - See all my reviews

This is sooo much better than interacts screen it isn't even funny. This is good because you can hook up a DVD Player, VCR, or on any other system. Don't have a DVD player? Just hook up an X-Box! Plus it has 2 (not 1) hadphone jacks! Great for long trips or kids that can't be quiet! And it even has a car hookup and a outlet hookup. That guy who lost both of his hookups blamed it on the product, when it was his fault all along.(he's just irresponsible) sure maybe a few are defective, but I would take the cance!
