Like many people I dismissed the Game Cube as a mediocre system with a couple of great games such as this one. I've played it before but I hadnt bought it until the summer of 2004.There are so many great games and cool accesories out now. I've played F Zero GX about 50 times and I just recently bought a Wave Bird and a Game Boy player. It's pretty cool to be able to play games like Super Mario World and old school style F Zero on my tv again. To be able to play 6 Sega titles on a Nintendo console for me is wonderful and totally convenient.I am a firm beleiver that Nintendo created their greatest console in the winter of 2001, this one(the Nintendo Game Cube). I got the Sonic Gems Collection for my birthday and love playing Sonic CD but my favorite game for the system is hands down Super Smash Bros. Melee. Ive unlocked every character and almost every stage and the sound is much improved when I plug in my V600s and play Game Boy Advance and Game Cube games on the tv. The best sounding effects and music are on SSBM. This deal is a bargain.

It is hard to imagine a great video game system based on the merit of quality of the games. Well, not just the games, but also the way a game system speaks to the public. Nevertheless, that is just the facts. Since Nintendo came out with the Gamecube a few years ago, it has been one of the most convient and recognized consoles. Well, condiering the popularity is now slipping away, there is still a great opportunity to make some great sales pitches. Well, when you combine one of the first Gamecube games, with a feeling of the legendary clans from Mario, Star Fox and Kirby, you get the best of a battle royale.
The latest Nintendo Gamecube bundle, includes the rock'em sock'em action game super Smash Brothers Melee. The system itself is very compact, in its sleek silvery styled platinum. It also is a little more convient to roam around with its handle on the back, and the numerous amount of game from classics like Super Mario Sunshine, to latest hits like Donkey Kong Jungle Beat, this fairs much more in the need of price and value. As for the Super Smash Brothers Melee game, it is a great game that features clasics characters that you can go against from Kirby, to classics like Mario and even Bowser. The game in itself iis a much needed improvement from its Nintendo 64 prequel. In itself, there are so many outrageous arenas to square off in, from the furtuistic streets of F-Zero, to the classics locations like the Mario worlds. The game in itself is easy to manuever with a bit of practice, and is great for all to play no matter what your age is. There also are so many great hidden secrets, characters and locations to unlock in the process. While so many have choices for the Nintendo Gamecube, many might want this bundle pack if you don't have the Gamecube, and a neat fighter game like Super Smash Brother Melee to match. This is a great delight for gamers who want a video game system at a very affordable price. I got this game for my birthday and I started playing it right away! Everything about the game is great! I don't see why it should be rated "T" though. I'm a big Mario fan and this is probably one of my favorites. You should really check this game out!

I got a Nintendo Gamecube the very Christmas it was released, along with some games such as Harry Potter 2 and Luigi's Mansion. I got hooked on Super Smash Bros. Melee the moment I started playing it. It is a much-needed upgrade from its original N64 version, with many more characters, arenas, modes of play, and much better graphics, sound effects, and game quality. I have unlocked every character and all arenas except one. There are many hidden characters, and you will spend hours unlocking them all, from the well-known Mario and Link to the more obscure Ness and Mr. Game and Watch. There are great one-player Event Matches, from the classic Mario vs. Bowser, to things you would never think of, such as being pitted against two gigantic hands. This is my favorite video game ever, hands down, no competition, and you will spend hours unlocking every secret.

I got this game four years ago and I love it! You get to smack people with hammers and other items. I like that it is a multi-player game so I can play with my brothers and friends. I also liked the choices I had in picking different battles. I hope you like Super Smash Brothers Mele as much I do.

Unlike some people I've had them all. I started with a PS2. What a POS load times took forever on games like grand theft auto. The thing stopped working after only a year. I was a big tekken, final fantasy, and smackdown fan. Right around the time tekken 5 came out the PS2 stopped working. So I traded everything I had for my PS2 to my local EB and got an XBOX. Load times were much faster. They really didn't have alot of titles that I liked though. No great fighting games or RPG's and then GTA load times were so much faster. Then after 3 years of service the Xbox was dead. What a great machine that was lasting so long. So I traded everything I had for the Xbox for a Gamecube. All of my friends thought I was stupid, but I think I couldn't have made a better choice. Load time is awesomely fast.

I bought one of these back when i was like 11, with my own hard-earned money. I played the crap out of it. oh boy did i ever have fun. This console came with some of the most fun multiplayer games, and some of the most intense single player ones.
My platinum cube came with a Copy of Metroid Prime back in the day. One of my buddies owned a copy of Super Smash Bros. Melee and 007 Agent Under Fire. We would get together and beat each other up in Melee all day, and launch virtural Bond grenades at each other all night long- with the sound turned up so high the speakers distorted and my dad got no sleep. :) After the guys left and i had gotten bored with the rest of the games, i decided to give Metroid a try, I was under the assumption that "if Nintendo will package THAT game with the console, it must be a stupid/cheapo game..." (being so young, i had never heard of the metroid franchise) Boy was i wrong, Metroid was one of the most amazing gaming experiences i'd ever had. And the sequel was almost as good as the first. And resident evil 4, WOW, is all I can say. Amazing single player experience. after purchasing a Wii a few years ago, i figured i wouldn't need the ol' shiny cube anymore, so i lent it to a friend who's console had broke. I soon after got sick of Wii video games and wasn't feeling the desire to try the old gamecube games in it. so my gaming passion slowly died... Now im off to College, and I got back in touch with my old friend and got my GC back from him. It feels so great to be looking at my old baby again! i miss her so! Ill be proud to set in atop my TV set in my future dorm room. I've been playing all last week and i cant wait to be done with school and have no worries so i can get back in the gaming zone again. Despite the fact that my friend managed to wear his out, i believe this device is extremely durable, my little cousin had one and i watched him drop it (about) a hundred times, hed just snap some parts back onto it, reset the cube, and it kept on truckin' never an issue. it never ceased to amaze me how that thing managed to keep working. I also left mine on (with disc spinning) for months at a time. No issues, ever. Though this is purely my opinion, Im a believer that the Gamecube had the best controller of last Generation. Playstation controllers (though many love them) always felt small to me (and i have small hands) , and the Xbox just feels like it dominated and absorbed my hands, and was heavy. Gamecube had nintendo's classic d-pad, feels great in my hands, and has great buttons, i loved how every right hand button had a different shape- i get lost in circles on other gamepads. the triggers were undisputingly the best, the way each one is analog with a clean digital 'click' at the bottom feels great. PROS: small; lightweight; decent graphics for last-gen; GREAT games (nintendo games rarely disappoint, and EA was pretty good to the GC as well); Great Controller; 4 players; looks freaking cool; Cheap games because its older (20 dollars or less); Durability CONS: very very few online gaming options; Platinum version of cube doesn't have the ability to use component cables (its only 480i); FEW game options when compared to ps2 or xBox; The Wii plays the same games the Gamecube did just about as well. I would recommend this console to anyone looking for a console on a budget that has the best in Multiplayer and Single player games, as long as your not really looking for a console that can connect online. Games are so Cheap now, it would be amazingly easy to get involved in hardcore gaming. Its also (admittedly) a great choice for someone looking for a more family-friendly console.
