I would definitely recommend these for rec rooms and amateur tournament's. Great spin, sturdy, and cheap.

Great paddles for casual game play. Well worth the money if you're not playing competitively.

The paddle has a pimpled surface(not a smooth surface). It is also padded. This paddle is on the heavy side, so you will most likely have to get used to it. Good quality for the price.

The Gamecraft 2.0 mm paddle is phenomenol! When I saw this paddle my inner voice said to me "Dude, this paddle will make you invincible." I had entered the ping pong tournament at the local community center. I needed a new paddle to dominate. I WILL be Thor.. and this paddle will be my hammer.
The current champ, 75 year old McDoogal, was going to be out for a hip replacement. It was my time to shine. With the Gamecraft 2.0 mm I will claim the throne.

I ordered my paddle a couple weeks in advance. I needed to properly bond with the Gamecraft 2.0 mm. I wore it like a six shooter on my hip. Ready for action at the slightest challenge. For two weeks we slept together, ate together, did everything together. I talked to it. Sometimes it spoke back. I was very close to being ready.

The only thing missing was the proper outfit to perfectly compliment my Gamecraft 2.o mm. This worked for me. I highly recommend it.

Dude... I looked so good. Jaws dropped when I entered the community center. To increase my intimidation factor I wore my authentic Tom Cruise Top Gun sunglasses. Oh yeah! Bow down you mortals.

Ping pong is the game of kings. That day there was only one king in the room. I mowed through the competition like they were butter. I was a Jedi Master... with the Gamecraft 2.0 mm for a light sabre. There were comments on my outfit but I just brushed them off. They were just jealous they hadn't thought of it.

A little tip: Before the tournament begins go over to the basket of balls and speak to them. Let your Gamecraft 2.0 mm speak to them. Come to an understanding. Feel the balls. Be the balls. I was accused of cheating because of this.. There is nothing in the rule book that makes this illegal Sally Mae. You loser.
I have the trophy. Thanks Gamecraft 2.0 mm. Can't wait till next month. McDoogal will be back from hip replacement. You are going down old man. You and your girlfriend Sally Mae. With my Gamecraft 2.0 mm I am unbeatable. Long live the King!

I ordered two paddles and one of them came fine while the other one had a slightly damaged head? The slightly damaged head didn't matter much to me so I just took it down to the ping pong table downstairs in the activity room to play with. I was hitting around with them for a couple minutes and then one of the paddle's handles died. It might have been bad luck because I see some pretty nice reviews but I was slightly disappointed because of the poor build quality. Other than that the paddles are pretty nice pimple faced and are a little heavy. Cheers

Wish I had read the description more closely than relying on photo. I thought this was a smooth surfaced paddle. Description clearly indicates the pips out face, but I ordered with only looking at photo :(

These are the paddles that you see in every rec hall with a ping pong table. Red on one side, black on the other. Smooth wooden handle. Nice rubber outside with pebbled finish. Unless you or your kids peel it off, they should last a long time (or can be glued back on). Nice weight in the hand. I don't forsee these breaking even with heavy use.

I ordered 7 of them back in 2005. Currently down to the last one. Heavily used them in backyard/resort types of environment, occasionally in extreme conditions (snow, rain, playing drunk, etc) with no problem. They are sturdy, a bit heavy (I like that) and sponge provides a nice foundation for an extra spin.
Ready for the next batch.

This product reached me in time and I can have fun with it. It is a good deal. I like it.

It's OK for causal play. The surfaces is a little too hard which will cause a little too much bounce and harder to control the ball. You may also want to sand where thumb and index finger grib, because just after 5 minutes play I felt the rough surface which caused a little uncomfortableness on hand. BTW, I'm from China and a good pingpong player (not professional though).
