Gamecube N64 S-Video and AV Cable

Unfortunately, the product didn't work for me. The s-video connection gave an image with a very grainy look to it. Surprisingly, the composite video connection gave a much better image.

Solid black line directly through center of TV screen separating two different 'doors' for the game I was playing (or trying to). Game that was being used was Super Smash Bros. Melee. TV being used was a Sony Bravia HD. Do not buy this. Next thing I plan on trying out is the monster cable with s-video built in. Big massive disappointment.

Did not receive same product as shown in picture. S-video produced extremely grainy picture. Composite video and audio worked as it should.

These S-Video cables definitely helped the visual quality of my N64 on my 46" Dynex HDTV. But don't go in expecting some sort of amazing new experience. It is ultimately an N64 on an HDTV. It will only get so good. These cable eliminated a lot of blur and increased the sharpness of objects in the foreground. Once you go past a certain point though, things get fuzzy again.

The amazon page does say it, but this also works for an SNES (Super Nintendo).
Works perfectly, no longer need the RF adapter.

The visual quality of my N64 has dramatically improved with the use of the more stable s-video component of this cable. The graphics were very twitchy using the composite (yellow) video component and the twitch disappeared when I use s-video. Would recommend to any gamer who has an N64 (or Gamecube) who wish to have better video quality.
