I bought the 3 in 1 Magic PC Joy Box to connect my Dance Dance Revolution dance mat for the Wii into my computer. After installing the driver from the manufacturer's website (the joy box is a rather old piece of hardware...after all, the driver packaged with the device is on a floppy disk), my dance pad worked...even on the Windows 7 platform! So, if you're using Vista or Windows 7, yes, the joy box will work with it.

My only complaint about it is that it has only one slot for each console (PS2, GameCube, XBOX). It would be helpful if it had 2 slots for each console considering the many games out there with multiplayer capabilities.

I didn't expect it to work at all. The XBOX controllers I can't get to work, I figure there is incompatibility with the emulators i'm using it with. Oh well, two player action with a Gamecube and PS2 controller is cool enough.

I have tested the 3 in 1 Magic PC Joy Box on both my Mac & Windows PC using an N64 emulator and a GameCube controller, and it works great!

If you want to connect a GameCube controller to your computer, this is the easiest way to do it!

Note: I haven't tested the XBOX/PS2 controllers

This works like magic! I have no trouble with this device I play dolphin emulator at full speed & there are no delays with the controller. The only thing is that you must first Plug in the controller before you put in the USB.

So far, I'm very impressed with this product. It allows you to connect an Xbox controller, Playstation 2 (or Playstation 1) controller and a Gamecube controller to your PC through USB. The great thing is that you can theoretically hook one of each at the same time for 3 players.

So far I haven't been able to test the GC functionality, but I imagine it works as well as the PS2 and Xbox. These adapters are great for getting that "perfect" feel for retro gaming, and often these controllers are cheaper and easier to come by than their PC counterparts. So if you have a bunch of consoles at home, and want to use those same controllers on your PC, now you can. Of course one might argue that this means your controllers will wear out faster, but at least in the short run it will save you money and replacing them will be that much easier. Xbox controllers are harder to come by these days, but as of this writing, Gamecube controllers and Dual Shock 2's are still being sold brand new in stores (and not just the third party variants), because of the Wii's emulation of Gamecube and that the PS2 still has new games coming out for it.

I recommend this product, though there are other similar adapters out there for other needs (like if you want to use Saturn or Dreamcast controllers, or attach 4 ps2 or Xbox, etc controllers at once).

There is official software for this product posted on the mayflash website (it also comes with a mini-cd in the package, don't throw out that cardboard before you find it! though of course the website drivers are the most up to date). You can also download a free program called Joy2Key (which allows you to assign keyboard and mouse functions to joystick functions) if you are having problems getting your pads to work with a particular game or app. I haven't tested other types of controllers with this adapter, but usually these adapters are designed for the pads, sticks, dance mats and sometimes racing wheels. Other gimmicky controllers may not work (and lightguns will not work, especially since they usually require a CRT if you don't have one... but look up EMS, they make guns that will work with LCD, Plasma and projection).

Another thing I like about this adapter is that it has a fairly long cord, which functions like an extension to the console controller's wires. Like all USB devices it's plug and play. Some games though only work if you plug in the adapter after starting up the game (in conjunction to Joy2Key).

Well, I mainly purchased the magic joy box 3 for use with a gamecube controller. First of all, let me tell you use the default configuration for the joystick or you will run into problems. If you want the rumble feature, then you must install the latest drivers from the Mayflash website. Adapter works fine with dolphin gamecube emulator however, sometimes the game freezes up when vibration is enables. Nevertheless, I think I got my moneys worth. Bought this hoping I could use my GameCube controller with Need for Speed World, but it doesn't work with World. However, I tried it with NFS Hot Pursuit(2010 edition) and only had to assign buttons to the functions I wanted to use them for. Turns out it works pretty well, just not with everything.

The incompatibility with recent operating systems can be infuriating. The developer offers driver updates on their website, but they're still over two years old and don't always fix the problem. Sometimes even reinstalling the drivers won't fix issues. It would be a fantastic product if it worked correctly all of the time, but if you're unfamiliar with troubleshooting these kind of things you might be better off getting a full blown PC gamepad.

Why do you no longer sell this? Just as someone else had stated, they used it to convert there Wii DDR Mat to pc. That is why I require one. Selling these are still profitable. Example: Google Stepmania.

When This Arrived I Was Hoping It Would Be The Ultimate Controller Cause I Love The Gamecube Remote So Much Its Better Than The Classic Wii Remote Almost As Good As The Playstation Controlers Its Good For Playing Platform,Racing and Other Genre But Not So Good On Fighting Games Thats One Of The Reason I Bought This Thing Cause I Played Capcom VS SNK 2 For About 2 Years And The Gamecube Controller Was The Best I Also Played With The Guilty Gear XX Accent Core For The Wii And Nothing Beats The Gamecube Remote. Now As For This Thing The Gamecube, Xbox,and PS2 Adapter It Works Good On PC Mine Was Running On Windows 7 installed Quick. Playing Roms is Great Better Than An Xbox 360 Controller The Driver Disk That Came With It Is Useless Playing It On The PS3 Is Good For Some Games When Playing Fighting Games On This It Doesnt Configure Right Also The Respond Time On It Is Slow Lost Alot On Street Fighter third Strike Online Its Good For Any Other Genre Eccept Fighting
